  • I didn't see it happen - check FloRacing for that replay - but here's the aftermath of Corey Heim flipping his Late Model during the Cars Tour race at Caraway on July 3rd.
He's still in the car and was OK but waiting for the crews to turn the car right side up - which I gave up on seeing because I needed to send a short clip back to the TV station. - SORRY! LOL!

These guys are rookies at this. The track I worked at years ago we would have had that car on its wheels along time ago..

I'd be pretty pissed off if I was racing professionally and had to hang upside down for at least 6 ½ minutes because the crew couldn't figure out how to flip me back over. Good on Heim for staying calm.

Maybe he got out of the car while it was still upside down, but I didn't see him climb out

25 track officials and none of them had any idea what they were doing. Unreal.

I was at that race. It felt like an century to get that car flipped over. Caraway needs to get new tow trucks when they have the money

May have taken 20 to 30 minutes at least it seemed like that watching it on tv

You do it by hand you can't control the landing.

I think they could’ve flipped the car over by hand way faster than it took to use a tow truck
