Nice to hear some real and authentic talk about the Midwest Industries "Beta" stock. Lots of their products are not that great - even if they look wonderful on paper or Instagram photo shoots. They love to make super trendy, "now" products and beat everyone else to the market - even if the quality isn't truly there and the concept isn't proven. They have some great products and it's awesome they give the consumer what they want rather quickly, but they are extremely over-rated in my humble opinion - the Alpha stock is a perfect example amongst quite a few others. (edited for horrific grammar)
The rear sights I have bought from MI are fantastic. I haven't needed anything else.
The alpha kit for the AK has been wonderful

Awesome video! I may be mistaken but didn’t you have the coyote sig minimalist plus stock? That’s what I have and it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on that. I’m sure it would be similar to the Jmac stock. Have a good one and I look forward to the next video

I like the 1913 Stock Attachment and really all firearms should come that way, allows so much more flexibility with changing stocks, I have a JMAC on my B&T TP9, and did the whole Alpha Kit on my AK47.

Great video! Thanks I was very curious about the Midwest alpha. Do you think that play in the mechanism is a defect in just yours? Or have you had more experience with others and it’s common design tolerances? I am definitely way more interested in the Samson now. Doing research on a build
You know what's interesting, is every one of these stocks are a direct copy of someone else's products. I don't like Jmac as a company, for personal reasons, and their stock is an obvious copy of the gen 1 MCX. The MI is a copy of the Zeintco stock, the Samson is a copy of the MBT, etc, etc. That being said, I would purchase every one of these. I have the Jmac on my FN-FNC and it's okay. They are extremely overpriced, and aren't really that nice for the money, but they fit the aesthetic.
The Samson is easily my favorite and tbh, I didn't even know it existed. Ty!

They look cool for a 5 56...i like a shock absorber stock in anything above 5.56 myself. FAB makes some awesome ones i use on my AK and 308 rifles.

Did you buy your spear lt as a sbr or a pistol and turn it into one? Trying to decide which I route I should go
Bought the pistol then from 1. My form 1 took 7 months though soooo…. Typically it’s much faster to do a form 1 vs the 4. But AFT is big GUEY so you never know🤷🏽♂️
@@RangeDayBroyeah downsides is you can travel with a sbr without approval, downsides now is you can’t buy the spear with a brace
How do the new pistol brace laws that just changed affect this? Its funny because ffls are still charging the tax stamp when the laws changed about braces last week. ATF still getting money because some people dont know yet i guess. Obviously this will effect barrel length and for grips eventually as well.
