I don’t know why I’m writing this on an 8 year old video. I doubt anyone will see this. I just felt that I had to express somehow how much this music means to me. Every single Emirates flight for 10 years. All over the world. It reminds me of the places I visited, the adventures had - waking up at 4am to board the plane buzzing with excitement, the sun rising by the time we had got on, and wondering what waited in store for me where we were going. But more than anything, this music reminds me of returning to my home, Dubai. Watching 3-odd movies on the plane and being happy to finally get back home. The polished marble floors of Terminal 3, the white pillars. Collecting baggage from the carousel and seeing the colourful ring architectural design as I walk out the airport. The smell of the Dubai taxi as I went back. Seeing the gleaming lights of the skyscrapers as we went across the highways, getting out the taxi and feeling the air that was so warm even at midnight. The musty smell of a home that hadn’t been inhabited for a good few weeks. And waking up the next sunny day in my bed, realising that I’m home again, and that while the trip may be over I still have a whole summer ahead of me. I guess I’m writing this in the hope that someone will see this and reassure me that I’m not the only one with these feelings. I grew up in Dubai, but after years I know that these memories are long gone and that I likely won’t be able to experience them again. If I have even one dream in life however, it’s to return home even if it’s only for a moment. Listen to this music as I step off the plane, and finally be at peace.
Pov - It’s 2:15am at DXB and your flight is boarding. You’ve just completed your transit, feeling tired and anxious to leave. Once you step into the plane you hear this extraordinary boarding music. It’s an unmatched feeling 💯

probably nobody will see this but anyway. this music is special for me. Emirates gave my grandad the best job he ever had (setting up the airline) and as a result its given me a childhood of warm christmases in Dubai as well as every birthday from my first to my 17th. the music to me brings back memories of being on an Emirates 777(in my early years) and the A380 in my later. Memories of arriving at Heathrow terminal 3 in london at night and normally the rain to head inside the terminal and find the checkin before heading through security and probably heading for the Emirates Lounge. a few hours of relaxing before boarding the plane and sitting down in my seat and waiting for takeoff. I miss Dubai enormously but not as much as i miss flying Emirates. every flight was so enjoyable and comfortable. great food and great movies. plus the novelity of a shower on board if it was a flight on one of the 380s. hopefully i'll fly emirates many many more times in the future. thank you for uploading the music its a great nostalgia hit.
My father died suddenly and unexpectedly last year while talking to me on phone. I know this sounds weird or dumb but whenever I hear that song I have to cry or I get this feeling that I can't give a definition. One year ago I flew with Emirates from Germany to New Zealand. It was such a long flight and I felt so many feelings when Ich entered the Airbus A380. Insecurity.Fear. Happiness.Curiosity. I had one of the best times in my life! But three months after I came back to germany I heard an Emirates Advertisement on the radio with this music that was during boarding etc.. All the feelings came back and I started to cry.. I don't know why I wrote this down...It's wonderful how much one single song can create so many feelings in you
Hello Tomorrow... This music does it for me everytime I board an EK flight. I can't wait to walk down the aisle again. I pray we all overcome these challenging times with ease and good health, Aameen.
This feels so nostalgic in corona quarantine time. I had so many transits via Dubai, always listening to this music while boarding, lounge. It feels so strange that a background music can make such deep memories. Wish the world a speedy recovery.
This music is just full of happy times. I moved away from my home country, and when i fly to go and visit my family, i hear this music. Can't wait to fly Emirates in 3 weeks!!!!😀
Every time I hear the Emirates boarding music, it takes me back to one of the most transformative periods of my life. For me, this music isn’t just a melody-it’s a portal to freedom, dreams, and incredible memories. The first time I flew with Emirates, I was heading to Mauritius for six months to finish my studies. It was a trip that symbolized so much more than just travel. It was about stepping into the unknown, following my dreams, and daring to live a life I had always envisioned. I had the opportunity to choose cheaper airlines, but I was determined to experience Emirates. I also wanted to make a stopover in Dubai, a city I had always dreamed of seeing, with its majestic skyline and larger-than-life energy. To make it happen, I worked incredibly hard as a student. My parents couldn’t afford to help me financially, but I was willing to go the extra mile to achieve these three dreams: flying with Emirates, visiting Dubai, and spending six unforgettable months in Mauritius. Flying with Emirates was everything I imagined and more. The elegance of the planes, the calm ambiance of the boarding music, and sitting under the soft glow of the “stars” in the cabin ceiling made the journey feel magical. It felt like I was stepping into a new chapter of my life, filled with possibility. Today, when I listen to that music, it reminds me of those moments of hope and determination. It evokes the warmth of Mauritius, the excitement of exploring Dubai, and the joy of realizing multiple dreams all at once. Even when I can’t travel now, playing this music brings me comfort and reconnects me to the spirit of adventure and freedom that Emirates represents for me.
I have almost lost count of the number of times I have heard this song. Flew Emirates out of and back into Oz between 2005 and 2018. Hope to rejoin next May and September.
I’ve looked for that song for like eternity!!!! It’s so well chosen. This theme gives you the feeling that something great awaits. And yes it does get me every time. ✌🏻

The way I can feel tears at the brims of my eye or the tightening of my chest or the chills I get when I hear the beginning few notes of the song. Today, I am 19 years old and the feeling of comfort and happiness of flying with Emirates is still there even after 14 years. One thing is for sure. Emirates is the BEST airline out there. I'll be flying to India this coming summer of 2023. And I am hoping I'll be flying with Emirates because I want to experience this song as I fly onto my motherland that I have greatly missed. I didn't realize just how nostalgic this soundtrack was for me until I heard an Emirates Advert here in Denmark. Having not flown Emirates in the last 3 years, hearing this soundtrack brought so many memories...
This music makes me emotional because it reminds me of the times I was with my family. Our family used to travel from Qatar to India for summers with Emirates. This music playing while we were boarding, felt like “yes, we’re on our way home after a long summer.” :’)
Best boarding song ever! honestly i'm in tears right now, it's like making me feel to live my dream and pushing me to fulfill it - to be an FA to emirates 💟
I doubt anyone will see this, but this music is my childhood. As a child when my grandparents were alive I would visit my home country (Pakistan) every single year. We would always stop at DXB for a few days and this music is bringing back those summers, that life. That childhood.
Hello to the people seeing this comment I wanted to share that I used to live in dubai its been four months since i moved and this song reminds me of my house in dubai 😭 it was my second house and I miss it alot it makes me feel that i am going back because i used to travel and I couldn’t wait to land in Dubai and go too my house So EVERYONE BE THANKFUL
1:43 AM, Dubai International Airport, terminal 2, its been 2 hours since you landed, you are walking through the jetbridge on to your flight, as you hear this music, you know that you are in for a good flight the last time I travelled over seas was in around 2018, hearing this music for the first time since then brings back so much nostalgia, I miss the feeling this music gave me when travelling, thank you
All those years of fear, anxiety, and loneliness transforming into elation, happiness, cheerfulness, and excitement - traveling alone between two far-kept countries as a child, encapsulated in one piece of music. It's weird how a piece of plane boarding music from a decade ago means so much to people, but here we are. May this never gets forgotten.
I started crying out of happiness on my first flight, welcoming the passagers with this music in the background knowing all the hard work I did to work at emirates and finally there, core memory🙏🏻
this is everything! the first time in my life i boarded a plane was emirates and this music brings back all the memories. truly emirates is the best airline ever!
I just wake up and playing this song. To walk through on my imagination memory lane. To feel the same I kept this theme playing. Since 2010 I started traveling with Emirates. My first flight was 🇺🇸 to 🇧🇩. The joy tied with that flight still makes me nostalgic. Lots of people from the comment section want to work with Emirates. Hope their dream comes true. May Allah bless us all.
Tinashe Ryan yeah ikr especially it reminds me about my trip to new zealand i’ve never used this plane before, but i listened to this song everyday cuz its relaxing and brings back memories
Its not just a music, its a pure relaxing music for mind. evety time I listen and closes my eyes. I could image myself that on onboard of Emirates airline.
Hi, I am 14 years old i've never been on Emirates Airlines before, but i'm planning to work for Emirates Airlines as a pilot when I grow older, its been a dream of mine to work for Emirates since I was a little kid im working hard for that job, im going to try to reach 25,000 miles to become first officer I hope i make it.
I remember this from my trip to Texas, it was a long flight tooo and they played this music when we finally landed. Very refreshing to take that deep sigh and thank God for journey mercies 🙏🏿
I miss my home dubai and i miss hearing this music every time i travelled from dubai to elsewhere. CANT WAIT TO GET BACK HOME and for others who are waiting to head back to dubai or travel in emirates. we know things will get better
One of the best airlines. When ever they have a list of airlines to fly with and this one comes up I always pick it no matter what time of departure because flight is so comfortable
I remember flying with Emirates from Copenhagen - Dubai - Singapore boy was it amazing. Especially when flying their A380 empty, because of covid-19. Can’t explain how much I love Emirates.
When i was working in Everett on the new Emirates 777-300ERs at Boeing, this music would play alot as the techs and mechanics were installing and testing the interior of the aircraft. Many great memories, and yes, I have been to Dubai several times as well.
Landing at DXB is an other worldly feeling. The city bustling even in midnight, a magic done in less than half a century.
Splendid 🎉

This Aircraft, is now bound for, Dubai." Love it!
Too young and luck enough to has Emirates as your flights back home.
This song has soo many wonderful memories… cannot describe those in words… well done ek… best airline in the world
