I bought one and the deck belt tore up 3.5 hrs into break in period. Hadn't even done the 5hr break in oil change yet. Called Bad Boy and made sure the mower was registered through TSC where I bought it and it wasn't so went ahead and the guy got me registered. They're sending me a belt at no charge since blades and belts have 90 day warranty. He was nice and helpful. That deck belt is $80+. I suggest checking the tension on the deck spring after just running the first few hours. Should be able to slide a .025-.030 gauge blade or a plastic credit card or similar in between the spring. There is a belt tension tool but its $200. Love the mower and it cut great for what little I 've used it. Hopefully I'll not have any issues with it as the parts cost is like that of a Harley Davidson.
Yeah, that's weird, my dad bought the exact mower and he's had it going on 3 summers, never any issues with it just yet...I love that badboy makes the decks so beefy and everything is easy to get to for the most part,
Thanks for the heads up
I have the same mower, and 3 acres I mow..it's really good
These are great lil mowers simple design. Easy to work on. Not for heavy duty use. I would say great for 1-1 1/2 acres.
For sure!
I mow 3 acres with mines
Looks like a solid purchase, I'm getting one but it has the single cylinder motor. Still nice for the money!
Stay away from single cylinder engines in this mowers. Specially Briggs
@@marekkrepa9982 And why is that exactly? Please explain....
@john doe for example cam shaft issues. Please spend 30 minutes to read reviews on line and you will find out its poorly made. Servicing mower engines is my part time job. Just stay away from them
I love how they’ve laid it all out….it’s so easy to get to everything. In your other video I saw the location of the oil drain line which is great so you don’t get oil all over the frame. And then in this video I noticed how there is a cutout underneath the oil filter so that, again, you are not dripping oil on to the frame and can put something underneath to catch it. So, now that you’ve had it a year or more, do you still like it? Thx!
Glad it was helpful! I still do like it. Only issue having Bermuda grass it likes to be cut short. With such a heavy deck & uneven ground I tend to scarf a lot. You have to find a happy medium & live with it. As for maintenance it's a breeze. Thanks
Thanks, very few vids on YT for our little Rambler’s. Lucky you got the V-Twin version. Now they are only available with the single cylinder Briggs 19HP, thus my decals say “541cc” :-(
A bit louder engine and less longevity due to the un-balanced nature of a single cylinder, not sure if The faulty camshafts carried over from the B&S Intek series to this new “Durable” line. Time will tell, kinda hoping it blows up so I can swap in a Honda GSV!
Thanks for watching & good luck with yours. 🤞👍
Any updates on this? How is it working for you?
So what fuel do you use in it, or where do you find a fuel without ethanol?
We have Non Ethanol fuel available here. Expensive but that is what I used. I may look into some kind of a stabilizer to add to the E fuels though much less these days. 🤞
I found it at Walmart here in Van Buren, Arkansas. I was shocked that they carried it.
Hows the mower been doin? Any issues?
As a matter of fact I used it today on my 1/2 acre hills & all. I have to keep my Bermuda Grass at the 2-1/2 mark. 😉
I can only find the 19hp 525cc one. Where can I find the 725cc option?
It also only lets me build the 19hp engine option on their website for some reason
It was ordered directly when they were short on the Briggs motors. You can try & call them directly. 🤞👍
