Absolutely, especially when it’s an actual good service, I’m a real fan of skillshare,it’s useful and much better than mobile game ads, definitely agree that I prefer a minute of Peter talking about skillshare than 1 minute of loud annoying ads
You know what I would absolutely love? A pen that disassembles into a _lot_ of parts, like a disassembly puzzle. I also love screwing things apart, so I always liked disassembling and reassembling pens
Big fan here. My wife and I were watching and I said, "I bet he's going to run his nails on the ridges". You did. She said, "Nice". Bet she thinks I'm a bit cooler. Thank you.
calum ryan Worry stones go much farther back than the 90s. They've been around for so long that nobody's sure who came up with the idea first. From Wikipedia (and a couple of other articles I've seen): "As a folk practice implement, worry stones have many origins. Variations on the concept originate in ancient Greece, Tibet, Ireland, and multiple Native American tribes."
A successful youtube channel based around fancy pens, calligraphy and drawing. Why? Because pens and great commentary. How? RUclips algorithm. Props to you dude. You keep my attention with every video.
Just letting you know that I LOVE the smooth dip feature. Whenever I have something that has something similar to that, I love running my thumb on it, it keeps my occupied more than the other types of fidgets. So definitely useful for some!

The first time I seen your doodling I thought oh finally here is some art I can do. You made it look so easy..so when I put pen to paper not a dam thing happened!!🤔🤔 and I thought wait a minute how come I'm not able to draw lines?? WTF!! Is going on here? ? Then I realized it was because I hadn't used my brain in a artistic way for so long that part was dead, so I have been practicing every day to make lines or circles and I'm happy to say I can now draw a line and I'm working on that circle. THANKS PETER you have awakened my dead brain
I think I figured out what makes your voice so incredibly relaxing! I feel like it’s the contrast between your quite sharp “p”, “t” etc sounds and your very rounded and soft “m” and “n” and “ng” sounds. Paired with your deep soft vocal tone it’s just like asmr. I’m so glad I found your channel. Perfect for watching before going to sleep after an exhausting day!
I've never thought about this until now, that I always press hard with ball point pens and get hand/wrist fatigue. Thank you for putting that in the video, I know I've loved gel pens, probably because I don't need to press harder to get it to work right! Thank you Peter
To me, the house in your awesome drawing looks like it could a sentient being. Like transformers, but a house not vehicles. Idea for a vid maybe? Wouldove to see you do that . :)
I think you’d rather have this than a fidget toy, it makes it seem and look more normal if you’re playing with a pen rather than a random cube or spinner.
Your imagination is just friggin unreal! You just started drawing without an idea of what the end result might be without a reference photo ,nothing ...and then this happens !! It’s frickin brilliant 🌟!! Watching it all come together is jaw dropping . 💫 Inspirational. 🎨
It’s been like 6 years or so since I started watching you. I rarely comment but I do watch and enjoy you very much. I just wanted to say how cool it is to see you come so far and succeed as you have. I know we don’t know each other but I’m proud of you. ❤️
Not only do I love your art style..... But your apologetically, soothing yet chaotic nature is something I relate to. And it's one of the only things that is chaotic in nature that doesn't excrutiatingly overwhelm me....
I've been having a lot of anxiety the past two days because of the holidays and my birthday but listening to you talk about this pan and watching the pain and everything like that is making me feel just the slightest bit better thanks a lot.
that smooth part is supposed to simuate holding something of the same shape as what you are holding it with, witch makes it pretti satisfying, like putting your finger on a membrane keyboard key... or.. SOMETHING.
I’m glad this was put through a thorough stress test, these things are important. If I were to add a fidget-feature it would be a couple of like small knob switches, like on a guitar. That would be satisfying
I'm one of those people the smooth dip is appealing to. I'd probably only use the switch clicker, regular pen click at the top, and the smooth dip 👍 but the most important part is whether or not I like the way it writes!
I have to agree if it was made of a better material it would be awesome. I have a fidget cube and I really only use the switch thing and the rolling ball! I love your content, great work!
I very much enjoy watching your videos and seeing your peculiar doodle art style. Really relaxing to listen to you just talk about whatever and watch random lines turn into something pretty neat by the end. Keep up the great content :)
Hi I just wanted to say I really appreciate how chill your videos are. Your voice is oddly calming and it helps with my nightmares if I listen as I go to sleep. Thanks!
As far as the smooth dip thing goes, I have a normal pen that has something like that as a grip and I personally find it calming because I use it kinda like a worry stone.
i love watching your video's. your artwork is amazing and so memorizing. and i absolutely love listening to your voice . you are probably my favorite youtuber.
People clicking actually helps me relax. It makes them people. Gives me something to focus on thinking or keeping pace with conversation or dictation. Speaking as an autist that rocks and apparently that scares people. So I tend to be tense trying to avoid rocking.
I love the dip in the side of the pen. When i break a nail i usually smoothe the nail down with my other nails and its really satisfying. The dip simulates that sabe movement when grinding down my nails. I dont know maybe im just weird, but hey, i like being weird.
A big thing for me with pens was those rubber grips you could stretch and slide along e pen, flip inside out, roll up etcetera. Opening up pens is also a must, screwing with every facet inside and out. A pen made for those purposes would be true perfection
The "Smooth dip" reminds me of a worry stone, rocks with an indentation that people would carry around and rub with their thumb or fidget with for various fidgety reasons. They've apparently been around since ancient Greece. Kind of interesting to see it on a modern fidget item.
Peter, you've reawakened the fidgeter in me, although I was also that kid who also got annoyed at fidgety noises. Still, if I could, I would make you a giant aluminum switch with an engraved 1 and zero you could feel, and a ballbearing on the other side that you could press down onto a metal push spring that would pop up super loud and strong. I get the feels just imagining it.
I think that the pen clip was made to seem a bit flimsy because you know those regular plastic pencils you get in packs at the store??? Yeah- well you know those plastic little clips they've got that are actually fairly sturdy? Well they have a satisfying snap- and I know this because I'm one of those people who love to break them off. So I find the flimsy looking nature with the spring powered pop off to look very satisfying- and man it really has me itching to play with it just to see if it lives up to my expectations or not;;; Oh and- I guess I should also mention that if it had a little more disassembly to it, ah that'd be real fun as well. But the spin bit and click bit definitely have my attention.

When you want/need it you take it out and rub it. Not satisfying at first but it’s like starting a new game at lvl 1. Rub it more and get to lvl 2. When you’re at lvl 70 lol you’ll have a good and smooth spot worn into the face and at this point I think most of the satisfaction comes with the amount of hours and the change that has occurred since lvl 1. I’m rambling.... and tipsy but it’s Not something you’ll get out of a plastic pen, they should put down some copper or some material that goes through some sort of change over time with appearance as well as a rough to smooth transition

The best pen to fidget is just the clicking mechanism on the Fisher ag-7. You press in the tail to extend it with a satisfying snap, and then press a button on the side to have it snick back in. The mechanism is tight and the whole thing is so solid.
the smooth rub part, its based on a "worry stone" which was a stone you rub with your thumb smooth up and down like that, they date back to ancient Greece i think...(i'd bet the oldest ones had their thumbprints rubbed INTO them from use, though now they come with an indentation for rubbing like this pen)
I have a felt-tip fidget pen.. I think it's aluminum. My girl doesn't remember where she got it but I know it was like $35-40.. Also.. Its made to be taken apart and put together.. You can take it apart and make a smaller pen with it and "fidget" with the remaining pieces.. Pretty sweet.
