These guys are on fire and I can’t wait to hear what comes next. I still remember how it felt when I got my first Zeppelin, Stones , Floyd LP and so many other monster talents, the only reason I can remember , and I am being completely sincere in saying this , is that after listening to this entire track , for the first time in decades I felt it again I want to have all my friends over and crank this cool new album buy this new band Greta Van Fleet in its unstoppable infancy and we will all play air guitar and get buzzed laugh and not give a fuck about anything because the music is doing the talking and pulled us all out of our heads to let us live in the moment, that's some serious spiritual currency . Steve Jennings roma p if you want to hear another great band listen to Mountains Like Wax. They've only put out 1 EP and won (out of over 300 entry's) Lighting 100's epic Live On The Green contest in Nashville. They will release their 2 EP in April. Their awesome also.
@@rickjason215 Josh has said should he decide to take a step away from the band, Jake could theoretically step in and sing. He also said Jake is a slightly better singer than he is which is intriguing.

OMG....thank you!!!... We need GVF and others to bring it all back home. Takes me back to my youth in the 70s. Fun in the 80s. I'm a young 60 and am luvin this vibe. Keep it coming guys!
You know it...gotta make up for lost time, before we met! I can't believe it...from 50 people at Otus Supply to 5,000+ at The Fox for 3 shows in December!
This one is my favorite tune. I have never loved a band and their music so much, since Led Zeppelin. Sorry for the comparison again but its true. KICK ASS ROCK.
when this video was filmed song was called " When The Cold Wind Blows" but it was not widely known therefore people first called it "Only Time Can Tell"
Guitars and an AMP all you need, fuck all the electronic bullshit these young people use today. These Kids are SOLID !!! ROCK N ROLL WILL NEVER DIE !!!
I know these guys are sick of being referred to Zepplin, but I think Mr. Plant has some explainin' to do! But who wouldn't love to hear a Led cover from these guys?
What?! You must be drunk! (jk) Mr. Plant has absolutely no explaining to do. He did it all and he did it first. Get real, dude! Led Zeppelin is Led Zeppelin. These boys are great, refreshing, but they're only 'similar' to Zeppelin w/some of their songs. What exactly does Robert Plant have to explain? Absolutely nothing. The only reason GVF is getting the attn they are getting is because some of their tunes have a LZ flavor Don't get me wrong, GVF sounds good, but they're NOT EVEN CLOSE to Led Zeppelin. I saw LZ twice in the early 70s and they blew the doors off the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, Canada both times and they were barely 25 yrs old. These boys are certainly refreshing in this day and age when music is questionable, at best. If you're not fully aware of the band Led Zeppelin and all their achievements nearly 50 yrs ago, you have no room to talk. People should be enjoying GVF for what they are and quit comparing them to LZ. I'd also be surprised if GVF is together in 5 yrs, anyway. Right now, they're very young and riding a high. Enjoy them while you can. You have no idea how quickly things can change.
they covered traveling riverside blues. sounds amazing. ive watched interviews about them sounding like zep and they have many influences outside of zep. each one has a different style and its just how it came together.

Yes, they wrote it themselves. The correct title is ''When The Cold Wind Blows'', not ''Only Time Can Tell''. It more than likely WILL BE included on their album when it's released in the next few months.
Come on guys.. ! Josh can you set your position so we can enjoy Danny Wagner THE DRUMMER too? Please!! Thank you for bring back rje real music. I love GRETA VAN FLEET
This song has had like four different names now, while the title mountain of the sun has had like four different lyricses now. They really need to be more consistent with naming stuff! 😂🤘
People, you hear many of THEIR influences! Bit of Zep sure...but anyone that complains about that clearly doesn't know good music when they hear it...go listen to your pop crap
I really do like this band and I think they have great chemistry, the lead singer is awesome. But I feel like their still searching for their own sound.
I do think they have their own sound on some of their songs, and on other they bring back a bit of some of the sounds of the classic rock era on others. They are still kids, so it will take time to fully develop an original sound & stage presence
Well the youngsters like em and they arent bad but way too much copying zep. From the guitar strappings to the drum set to the singing style to the writing style to the singers hand gestures an attempt to look like plant, to the blues influence to the way they do theyre acoustic sets etc. Thank god there is only one zep and in less than a year they had zep 1 and 2 out .these guys have been together for 5 but nowhere near the level of zep in 5 years because in 5 they had 4 or 5 albums.not even close here
You do realize that the oldest guys in the band right now are about the same age as Robert and Bonzo were when Zep started, right? Page and Jonesie were experienced studio guys in their mid-20s. The drummer and bassist in GVF aren't even out of high school yet, so your whole "5 years" analogy is junk. We'll see where GVF is in 5yrs. I think you'll be surprised. I won't.
Larry Richardson Just a question, where do you think they'll be in five years? Or what were you trying to explain in your argument, I'm just genuinely curious. (Not trying to be an ass)
I think they'll be AT LEAST still moderately successful. At least. It wouldn't surprise me if they're VERY successful at that point. Eddie seems to be writing them off. Zep is my favorite band, BTW. The whole "5 years" comparison is just ridiculous. A better comparison would be to the first incarnation of Plant and Bonzo's Band of Joy in the '60s. They went nowhere (though they sounded quite good). None of their songs carried over to Zep. Jones was a top session musician. Page was as well, on top of having been in the Yardbirds. Comparing Zep to a band of small-town guys with an average age of 20 is ridiculous. Jake Kiszka is 21. Jimmy was almost 25 when he formed Zep. As a pro band with a HUGE incentive to crank out tunes, Zep put out 5 LPs in about 5yrs. GVF has well over 25 tunes out or in the vault -- which comes out to about 3 LPs in '70s terms. Most will probably be released. It's just a bullshit comparison. Eddie is trying to compare GVF with an average age of FIFTEEN (5yrs ago) to Zep with an average age of about 20 (in late '68). As I said, we'll see.

This band has made classic rock and roll absolutely timeless for me. I haven't been so entirely consumed with something in a long time
They can really play their instruments. The bass player is terrific.
And he was 18 when this video was posted.
@Kieran Keegan Since the guitar player and singer are twins, can the singer play like his brother and can the guitar player sing like his brother?
@@rickjason215 Josh has said should he decide to take a step away from the band, Jake could theoretically step in and sing. He also said Jake is a slightly better singer than he is which is intriguing.
@@sonia55408 I doubt he’s a better singer. Josh has years of experience singing full concerts, that Jake doesn’t have.

Another great Michigan band. Proud to say I'm a Michigander.
LOVIN THE BASE GUITAR ...GOOD STUFF

It is stiffer than ever. Now you have to deal with mainstream stuff too.

Thanks for the upload, wrong title though. This song is called "When the cold wind blows"
Michael Bell actually it’s called The cold wind
These guys definitely have that "it " appeal that's hard to look away from.
