recently returned to the hobby (10 yrs out) of all things wargaming since watching your channel, and I've picked up some Bolt Action Models.. Love watching your videos, so great to watch. Thanks for the content and keep up the good work. Happy New Year
It's not how you start; it's how you finish. Congratulations Andrei You won the Battle of the Winter Storm! I have rarely seen Travis have such a run of bad luck. Condolences, Travis.
Great game - well recorded. Remarkable turn of events in round 5. Just goes to show that a game is never lost until the final die has rolled. Happy New Year
Well done as usual!! Great opening move from Andre blasting the M10 on its first shot. Loved the surprise and of the battle! Keep up the excellent work and keep the Bolt Action content coming. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year all! A great game once again! I especially love the top-view. If my memory serves me correct, the pz IV gets the buff 'Tiger Fear', whereby any unit that is not going to fire at the tank with tiger fear needs to take an order check at -1 no matter what (even if there are no pins on that unit!) It seems that the both of you have either forgotten, or it's me who's crazy... But check it out if you will, its still a great buff to german tanks! Also the flamer rules are a bit different then what you guys were playing. Since the (infantry) weapon only has 6 inches of range, anything between 3 and 6 inches is still a 3+ to hit, not a 2+. Anything closer then 3 inches is truly short range for the flamer
Nice game - love your winter armies and terrain. Pretty close game - your mortar was a lot more effective than Andre's, shame your tank hunter was tank hunted though!
I’ve not played a game of bolt action, just like watching. Watched your Burma ‘44 video a couple days ago and you stopped your opponent from consolidating his Gurkhas into a building, but you consolidate a squad into a building in a similar scenario (@36:58)?
Nice battle, as always. I enjoyed watching it. I especially like the tanks. Is there a possibility to do some kind of tank versus tank game with a handful of tanks on each side? Would this even be playable? I know that you have many tanks in your collection but we rarely see them in action.
I wish you would do a succinct, to-the-point battle report for Mansions of Madness. I know it isnt a wargame, but I hate the playthroughs of arkham files games on youtube that are just long winded reading and 10 minutes of banter for every turn.
39:17 The US regulars had three pins and needed a six to survive their morale check after the flame thrower hit. You rolled a seven...You are cheating, Travis.
Pretty sure he's said before that the coloured bases are from the Conan boardgame kickstarter. You can find similar coloured base markers on Etsy if that helps👍

Another great game to watch. At 25:57, cover can only be claimed, if more than half of a unit is in it, thus the US engineers stay in the open.
Board looks great.

We don’t play the tiger fear rule. Except for tigers. Maybe a panther.
Love your Bolt action keep them coming!
Awesome game! Great looking terrain!

Great entertainment. Happy new year!
36:46: assaulting units cannot enter buildings in a regroup move, unless the opposing player occupied it.
these houses and terrains look fucking tasty
good stuff
Does not look like your dice throwing has improved. Good game.

The Lardies have a game called What A Tanker that is exactly that. Just tanks.
@@tabletopcp Sounds good. Any chance that you play this?
We played one game. Maybe two. I was thinking of trying it with 15mm tanks of which I have a ton
@@tabletopcp Sounds good. I would definetely like to watch this.
Good game; No resolutions, but I plan to get more WWII painted for my table
Another great battle - how do you colour your bases to ID NCOs - are they painted / coloured rings ?
They are plastic rings. Got them off eBay years ago.

It’s not intentional. There is a lot going on during the filming of these videos. Sometimes things get missed.
Great video👏, can you attach a link for where to purchase those coloured bases yo sit your NCO & Officers in please.
Pretty sure he's said before that the coloured bases are from the Conan boardgame kickstarter.

Yeah as James says they are from
an Old Conan board game. I got ‘em off eBay. I don’t have a link sadly.
Where did you get those dials for marking pins/shock?
They are from Charlie Foxtrot
Any recommendations for desert maps?
