Yep racism is a very big problem here, cases pop up a lot these days which is disgusting to see. Dani Alves(the player) in the vid basically mocked the racist cnt by saying idc you can chuck whatever I'll just ignore it. In that case he picked up the banana and ate it. Not something we like to see in the beautiful game. He's a legendary player btw one of the best ever in his position(right back - RB).

It's better than it used to be but there is a LONG way to go, and social media makes it worse; increasingly so with both social media access and exposure from international accounts, and more importantly, trolls. National and International teams here now take the knee in recent years, inspired by Kapernik's gesture; although that's neither an origin of the gesture nor the whole issue. The issues existed before that of course but it's a good connection. It's a very interesting topic. Look at the Hungary vs England World cup qualifier this year as a recent example (the Hungary home game from a a couple of months ago). I may get disliked for even mentioning it is an issue, unfortunately... but probably not on your channel!
Agree. It is a real problem in certain countries. Hungary are stand out offenders, but elements in Italy and several other countries bring shame upon themselves and the countries and teams they represent. UEFA and FIFA do not do enough when serious incidents occur because they fail to take effective disciplinary measures..
The player in the white must have got a red card when he gave the penalty away, and it looked like the opposing team players were trying to get the Referee just to give him a yellow card.
