He threw water on Glenn because he announced to the crowd that he was doing “please release me” and Glenn played “I can’t stop loving you” He went right into it. He is amazing. Listen to very beginning
Relvis, Now I can go to sleep. I wait for you. What a wow thing that Helene has one of Elvis’ ring. I’m jealous too😂😂. I love your bobble collection. You are doing great. We are one big family Elvis fans!!!
Such a powerful performance… I listen to him every single day, he makes me feel calm and happy ❤ when I’m having a bad day, his music is like a little happy pill and I forget about it all. Elvis affect will go on forever ❤
I'm really starting to worry about you, Ray. I love Elvis just as much as the next man - or so I thought. Elvis cooking you breakfast??? 🤣🤣🤣 If your channel suddenly gets shut down, I'm gonna assume Mrs. Ray had you committed. Peace, my brother. Thanks for the laughs, joy and love you bring to the channel every day. You make the world a brighter place!! ✌🏼❤
Right after Elvis belts out the first chorus, he shakes his head. He called for "Please Release Me" but the piano player, Glen Hardin, either as a mistake or prank, starting playing "I Can' t Stop Loving You". Elvis gets his playful revenge and channels his irritation into a helluva performance. I'm sure that they all laughed about it at the end of the show. Whitney Houston's mom, Cissy, left the Inspirations after 1969. You can hear her in action in the laughing version of "Are You Lonesome Tonight" - 1969 in Vegas.
If you watch Elvis sing " how great thou Art" during this same concert (one of his very famous renditions), you can Really see his jewelry.. please react to this song too Ray, you'll love it!

Ray....U missed the beginning!!! He said next song 'Release Me'.. and Glenn, his piano player started playing I Can't Stop Loving You by accident! Elvis went over & threw water on him for messing up Lol 😂 They had fun! Love this video.
Oh yes I hear it now....I have watched this video now about 4 times and missed it...🤭 Thank you for pointing it out to me... The table got turned on him ... I read that often times Elvis called out songs instead of following the list of songs in the order they were intended....ha! The musicians were so great to be able to follow his lead instead of a list.
Ray, your reactions are always the best❤ not only do you make me laugh but I enjoy seeing someone that genuinely loves and appreciates Elvis! Through his best moments and those moments that he still forced himself to perform even when he was so sick because he loved his fans so much, each reaction is special just like his performances were. Thank you for making each Elvis reaction engaging and special❤
Your coming home and alone reactions were amazing and heartfelt , after I long week away at work I am very happy to finally be home and get to watch your videos so I can decompress and relax. My end of life patient, Homer, (I'm a end of life care giver training to be a death doula) loves elvis too and I showed him some of your reactions of the king and you have brought pure joy to homer, I thought you should know about that :) it's not often a person nearing the end of their time here, have as much fun as you've been able to give him, all through a video. Homer and I thank you kindly ! I have another request I was gonna throw your way but I'll send it in a different comment since I wrote a whole ass book here lol 🖤
Thank you for keeping him alive!! Love your reactions. Another great one is Trouble from the 68 special. He performed it twice, (the performance in the black leather suit). At his prime!!
Man brother Ray, your comments and reactions to this performance 1972 is so funny and I enjoy listening to you but on the other hand you point out his talents over and over. Ever since I’ve been listening to your reactions on this very special man I’ve revisited a lot of his music thanks to you. You help keep the king alive for so many people keep on kicking ass with this music from Elvis Presley. NOTE: There are so many people liking your reactions we need to call it the RAY’S Elvis TRAIN 🚂👍🇺🇸🎤⚡️🎸🙏🎹🔥
You are giving Eddie Murphy a run for his money.Eddie loved Elvis many many years ago. Some made fun of Eddie for having a picture of Elvis on display but he didn’t care he truly loved Elvis.
If you listen closely, Elvis says to the band the name of the next song to play (release me) and Glenn, the piano player purposely plays the intro to this song. That is why Elvis gives that look to the band and why he throws water on Glenn. Elvis was a good sport about it.
Fantastic reaction once again thank you 😍 I love how even though they started with the wrong song he didn't skip a beat and went straight into the song they played and made a joke about it. I feel that today's artists would have stopped the show and made a comment about the musicians error not our Elvis long live the king 😁
Love how even though the band played the wrong song elvis still went with it on the fly and performed it so well love how he gets even by throwing water on him
Love your reactions! You never fail to make me laugh😂. I was watching an interview with JD Sumner. He said Elvis didn’t know the true impact he had on music and people. He knew he was popular, but not the true extent.
I'm gonna keep it positive. That guy though, his loss & hey more Relvis to go around for us here 😊 So I'm only giving this info because too many people out there think that Ray Charles wrote this song, he did not. He covered this song (on his country album to be specific) "I Can't Stop Loving You" was written and composed by country singer, songwriter, and musician Don Gibson who first recorded it on December 3, 1957 for RCA Victor. It was released in 1958 on the B- side of "Oh Lonesome Me" becoming a double- sided country hit. At the time of Don Gibson's death in 2003, more than 700 artists covered "I Can't Stop Lovin' You" making it a very notably lasting popular song in music. Don Gibson also wrote and composed "I Washed In Muddy Waters" (also in the 1950's) which Elvis did (in my humble opinion) a most EXCELLENT version of for his "I'm 10,000 Years Old" Elvis Country album (recorded in June 4- 8 & September 22, 1970 in RCA's Studio B Nashville, Tennessee & released in January of 1971). IF you are interested (and I get it, you got A LOT of Elvis) here is the link to the unefited Official Audio version: m.ruclips.net/video/08UAnAOlymI/видео.html Please do feel free to ignore if someone already requested this. And Ray do not tell us Elvis fans you want to do a deeper dive into Elvis's catalogue. Oh be still my beating heart 💓💓💓💓😍😍😍😍 There are songs from Elvis's early years that NO ONE reacts to because there's no live versions of. Or they won't react to Elvis's Louisiana Hayride live versions of songs he did in 1954- 1955 live because they weren't filmed and oh my God, I love, love, love listening to Elvis when he was younger because he had a stutter and you could clearly hear how nervous he was but then he'd tell the boys to "hit it" and the music would start and you can hear Elvis just swinging right into it, finding his groove, his confidence growing with every note. Can you tell I love Elvis? 😂😄😂😄😂😄 And I have SO many pictures of Elvis saved, Ray, you have no idea. Elvis took over my Pinterest 😂😂😂 This is bonkers. I need an intervention stat! Except... If you tried to give me an Elvis intervention I'd tell you to get the eff away from me and probably, well, let's just say get pissy and you don't want me to get pissy on you. My apologies for offending anyone with my use of parlez vous. THANK YOU SO MUCH RAY 💙💐💙💐💙💐 & MISS HELENE 💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹 & also CONGRATS TO YOU RAY 58K Subscribers 🎉🎆🎈🎉🎆🎈🎉🎆🎈 & CONGRATS TO YOU MISS HELENE On YOUR NEW KING BLING 👑💍👑💍👑💍👑💍 Hey, they didn't call Elvis the King Of Bling for nothin' 😄😉 FAB REACTION 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Thanks so much once again, Ray! TCB ⚡ & TLC ❤ & peace ✌& blessings 🙏 to you & yours & to one & all here as well 💕
@@susyq810 He really was! I'm scrolling through my Elvis photos collections to see if I have any of Elvis in that specific blue shirt. Only two faded photos that I could find, drat it all. Thank you Miss Susy Q 💖🌻💕 You're so welcome as always 😊💐
Thanks Sammy! As I mentioned to Ray, it is truly surreal to be have that ring on my finger while watching him perform wearing it❤. A literal fulfillment of my dream😍😍
Ray, I'd love to see you react to a short video (about 4 min) where one of The Sweet Inspirations looks back on the start of their time with Elvis in Vegas & then general comments about their 8 years with him. It's so touching. Just look up "Elvis's favorite singer Estelle Brown"". I LOVE watching you react to his music & I'm looking forward to what you have to say about "The Searcher". But I'd love to see you react to some of these personal memories of people who knew him so well. 💙🌿💙🌿💙🌿💙🌿💙🌿💙
I know. Been asking for 5 months to check out Elvis...King of Kindness and Elvis...A Generous Heart the short version, but it's not a donation. We will see whatever Helene & Miss Candie request from what I'm gathering. TCB ⚡
Elvis and the open shirt fashion in the 70’s with the chains and everything but not everyone needed to wear it 🤣🤣 Elvis was iconic. I loved the sport coat with no shirt yes mmmmm lol he did that first to. Just lusciousness everywhere 🤣🤣. Guess I better go I’m getting out of hand here haha. TCB⚡️
Whitney Houston’s mother, Cissy Houston, was only with Elvis for five weeks in Vegas from July 31 to August 28, 1969. She left the Sweet Inspirations to pursue a solo career. The ladies you see there are Estelle Brown, Myrna Smith, and Sylvia Shamwell. Great reaction! And I am also so jealous of Ms. Helene’s ring! Much love ❤️
What I've found is that Cissy's husband was manager of the sweet inspirations and was fired for mismanagement of the group and was fired. When he left, Cissy went with him.
I love Elvis and love your reactions to him. My father passed away recently and your Elvis reactions have made me smile and laugh again! Thank you so much, keep doing you and never change !!!!!
Your my favorite reactor! My mom (rip) loved him and every time I watch your reaction it brings me back to when me and her used to listen to him!!ty brotha for your posts !! Your my number one Elvis fan on RUclips !! God bless !!!
"Even in 1972 Elvis was making men wet" ~😂 Blue is def EP's color; and didn't he always look best in his natural skin color without the additional tan. It's also good to see EP playful and having a good time! 😊 As per usual Ray~ you make watching Elvis new, fresh, and exciting. It doesn't matter how many other times I may have watched one of his videos, you always capture something I may not have noticed or forgotten about. I totally dig your commentary and reactions. I'm sure Elvis would have appreciated your enthusiasm. I wish someone could have brought you to Lisa's attention. I'm sure she would have gotten a kick out of you and the love you spread for her father! ❤ Keep it alive! 👍 😊
Fell asleep early but to wake up to your reaction at this time of early morning late evening Time... is the Best!. Thx for your truths and funny observations.. learning a lot😊📺👍
Ray your show is fucking amazing as are you and baby elvis , get a Ray and elvis together bobbleheads, what a duo, what a bromance and I do hope I can live till 80 to see you still doing your thang, .
Love your reactions!!! I’ve been a fan since I was a kid. I was born a few months before he passed. But I’m glad they had all these videos of his performance.
Thank you for that..I have to watch Elvis everyday..A movie , a concert, a clip, your you tube versions..I was born in 1957, and he has always been part of my life..❤
What is very great here, that fact that E wanted to sing please release me (4:07) but Glenn the pianoplayer started the wrong song. But E just switched and nobody in the crowed noticed. Only a King can do that.
@@jemeritte Same here sir. I will never forget I was in the audiance at the Alloha from hawaii concert. I still dream abaut it, and yes Ray is the best reactor to Elvis on youtube, I totally agree. Dat heeft u goed gezien kerel 😄
They have Elvis Pops?!! Time to go shopping. This year you're watching was the year I saw Elvis for my first 2 concerts ever. Independent artists in the a capella genre you should check out: Home Free - Man of Constant Sorrow Voiceplay - Dream On by Aerosmith cover
Hey, Ray! I didn't know you were a Hendrix fan! Get this...I saw him in concert 3 months before he died. I stood with my arms propped against the front of the stage taking photos of him in all his purple glory💜 (in those days stages weren't as high as they are now & there were no barriers in front of them). After his encore he reached down to hand me his guitar pick. Just as our hands touched a big burly guy jostled me aside & grabbed the pick. I was a little 5'2" 16 year old & he would've knocked me down if not for all the people crowded around. All these years later it still pisses me off. I'd love to still have that pick that I watched Jimi play with, so up close. But hey, I've still got my pics (they're slides) stored away somewhere up in my loft. Thought you might like that little story. When I think about it I really feel blessed...I saw Hendrix..I saw Elvis (twice)..Zeppelin (3 times)..so many legendary artists. I wouldn't trade those days & my memories for anything. 💙☮💙☮💙☮💙☮💙☮💙
@Deborah Cornell Gosh, you have no perception of how I envy you... I wish I had been there with you. The man who took the pick from you should be cast out of the Hendrix fan community. I get angry just thinking about it. Anyway, to have had the possibility to see Elvis live seems unreal. You`re a lucky lady! God bless you ❤
i have so many songs for you that are different from what we are used to brother, long bkack limousine, i am leaven, silvia, etc.... and all rehearsals and his voice is not not normal here Gr from Amsterdam
Great reaction as usual!! You always make me smile and laugh😊🤣 Did you put any thought into getting a full length cutout board of Elvis that I suggested before to stand behind you looking over your shoulder your fans and Elvis’s fans can enjoy looking at him 🔥👀👑💛🔥 Will you please let me know if you read this and what you think about this idea… Ty
Love your bobblehead and I'm so jealous of Ms Helene also. I would wear that ring 24/7. Elvis called for "Release Me" and Glen started "i can't stop loving you " and Elvis just jumped right into it after a dirty look! Took it like the professional he was. Therefore the water thrown at Glen lmao ❤
That was also a Ray Charles song; he through water to his pianist because the called for the song "release me" and the pianist started "can't stop loving you"
Yes, Ray also covered it for his country album. It was originally written and recorded by Don Gibson in 1957. Elvis sings it brilliantly and I love this performance and the water throwing lol!✌
Cissy was gone at this time she only did one year with Elvis. The remaining Sweets were Myrna, Estelle and Sylvia. Estelle is still alive as is Cissy. Cissy appeared in the 25 Anniversary Special.
{Ral-Vis} ..... PAY ATTENTION ...... And your Subs ..... All of you missed this .... Elvis says on the mic to the band to play ...... {Please release me} ...... But the band started the song ...... {I can't stop loving you} ..... That is why Elvis smiled and looked over at the band the way he did ...... And that is why he through water at ...... {Glen Harden} ...... His piano player ..... Elvis and the band sometimes did that to each other ..... Once they did it on the song Hurt ..... As Elvis was going to take a drink of water ..... But the band started the song off faster then Elvis was anticipating ...... And of-course Elvis again smiled about it the the fans this time ..... Funny stuff ..... Wouldn't you say ..... ({Ral} vis ) ......

Just subscribed, man. I love your video's if you want a great video of elvis to react to this one got alot o' livin to do, from his movie LOVING YOU it's out of this world' brilliant pure class T.C.B
Not sure if this was posted; the shake of the head and look plus tossing the water at the beginning of the song, was because he called out what song he wanted and they started a different one. Still, he handled like a pro.
You make me laugh so much. Thank you. You know it's not the same but you can get copies of Elvis rings under 100 dollars online. Better than nothing. 😃

Facts about the Elvis Russian Tsar ring, one of his favorites
The 14k gold diamond claw crest ring was a gift from his father
but in a remarkable display of generosity he handed it to fan tommy milham who had queued for over 20 hrs to see e perform in 76
At this point Elvis had been documented wearing it in over a 100 concerts
milham the fan waited for over 20 hrs in line to see e perform on aug 26th 1976
Elvis seen the interview of the super fan that said he waited w/ hot drinks , lunch and a portable chair to sleep in to get front row tickets to see his hero the king live
Elvis was so impressed he met with the man and offered him a scarf as thanks for his support
but fan pointed to the ring and jokingly said id rather have that and in a remarkable display of generosity and kindness, tommy stood stunned as Elvis took off the ring and gave it to him
Elvis was known to often do this when someone complimented him on his jewelry or clothes or whatever he'd take it off and just give it to them
it was bought in 2004 by an avid e collector who had owned other pieces of e's jewelry but was looking for something that had been meaningful to e something he had truly loved
so was absolutely thrilled to get this ring
unfortunately in 2015 he became very ill and with his health declining was forced to put it up for auction saying " my only hope is it goes to someone who will love it as much as e did and who will treasure it the way i have"
it went at auction for nearly $50,000.
"If the fans want the shirt off my back they can have it, they're the ones who put it there"

I'm gonna keep it positive. That guy though, his loss & hey more Relvis to go around for us here 😊
So I'm only giving this info because too many people out there think that Ray Charles wrote this song, he did not. He covered this song (on his country album to be specific)
"I Can't Stop Loving You" was written and composed by country singer, songwriter, and musician Don Gibson who first recorded it on December 3, 1957 for RCA Victor.

And Ray do not tell us Elvis fans you want to do a deeper dive into Elvis's catalogue. Oh be still my beating heart 💓💓💓💓😍😍😍😍
There are songs from Elvis's early years that NO ONE reacts to because there's no live versions of.
And I have SO many pictures of Elvis saved, Ray, you have no idea. Elvis took over my Pinterest 😂😂😂
This is bonkers. I need an intervention stat! Except... If you tried to give me an Elvis intervention I'd tell you to get the eff away from me and probably, well, let's just say get pissy and you don't want me to get pissy on you.
My apologies for offending anyone with my use of parlez vous.
THANK YOU SO MUCH RAY 💙💐💙💐💙💐 & MISS HELENE 💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹 & also CONGRATS TO YOU RAY 58K Subscribers 🎉🎆🎈🎉🎆🎈🎉🎆🎈 & CONGRATS TO YOU MISS HELENE On YOUR NEW KING BLING 👑💍👑💍👑💍👑💍
Hey, they didn't call Elvis the King Of Bling for nothin' 😄😉
FAB REACTION 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Thanks so much once again, Ray!
TCB ⚡ & TLC ❤ & peace ✌& blessings 🙏 to you & yours & to one & all here as well 💕
Hi Sammy! Awesome info once again. This reaction was fun and Ray was like a excited little kid...
I would be too...
Miss Helene that is so sweet & I am so very happy for you 🌻💖💕
And you are very humbly welcome 😊💛🌷🌼
Thank you for this I already knew it but you know some people that don't know it
In the later years the king would close his shows with this song.
❤ your new treasures!
😍😍😍
TCB ⚡
Love your new friends ❤❤! You brighten my days and nights!!!
TCB⚡️
You do know that Elvis is looking down from heaven at you, and he smiling and saying man you crazy right 👍.
😂😂 I love your ELVIS reactions, you are so fun and witty!
I love Elvis and love your reactions to him. My father passed away recently and your Elvis reactions have made me smile and laugh again! Thank you so much, keep doing you and never change !!!!!
Iam sorry for your loss and am glad i can make u smile through tough times
Your my favorite reactor! My mom (rip) loved him and every time I watch your reaction it brings me back to when me and her used to listen to him!!ty brotha for your posts !! Your my number one Elvis fan on RUclips !! God bless !!!
"Even in 1972 Elvis was making men wet" ~😂
Blue is def EP's color; and didn't he always look best in his natural skin color without the additional tan.
It's also good to see EP playful and having a good time! 😊
As per usual Ray~ you make watching Elvis new, fresh, and exciting. ❤
Keep it alive! 👍 😊
I just love you, thank you so much first of all for being an Elvis fan and making me laugh so hard I pee a little bit 😄
ELVIS 💥
Fell asleep early but to wake up to your reaction at this time of early morning late evening Time... is the Best!. Thx for your truths and funny observations.. learning a lot😊📺👍
Hope you enjoyed it!
Ray your show is fucking amazing as are you and baby elvis , get a Ray and elvis together bobbleheads, what a duo, what a bromance and I do hope I can live till 80 to see you still doing your thang, .
Just The king
Love your reactions!!! I’ve been a fan since I was a kid. I was born a few months before he passed. But I’m glad they had all these videos of his performance.
Thank you for that..I have to watch Elvis everyday..A movie , a concert, a clip, your you tube versions..I was born in 1957, and he has always been part of my life..❤
Yes, This man is on fire! Outstanding Performer! I love your reactions!
Elvis (in ‘68 Special), Jimi, & Riley (in her new series, Daisy Jones & The Six) all have the same guitar strap.
I love watching you love Elvis! Keep it up!
What is very great here, that fact that E wanted to sing please release me (4:07) but Glenn the pianoplayer started the wrong song. But E just switched and nobody in the crowed noticed. Only a King can do that.
Another Dutchie over here?
@@jemeritte No sorry, but close. Flanders 😉
@@bemljeve yes, that's close indead.. 👌
Love Ray's videos..
Love Elvis since forever..
@@jemeritte Same here sir. I will never forget I was in the audiance at the Alloha from hawaii concert. I still dream abaut it, and yes Ray is the best reactor to Elvis on youtube, I totally agree. Dat heeft u goed gezien kerel 😄
@@bemljeve I am a woman.. See my picture 😉
You are the ultimate in all reactions 😀👏🏾👏🏾 as Elvis is with his voice and performance 💖🕺🔥⚡️.
That's where he can really be Elvis'
One of my favorites
No notifications for ELVIS. Again. THANK YOU You Tube!
They have Elvis Pops?!! Time to go shopping. This year you're watching was the year I saw Elvis for my first 2 concerts ever.
Independent artists in the a capella genre you should check out:
Home Free - Man of Constant Sorrow
Voiceplay - Dream On by Aerosmith cover
Hey those are my dreams😀😀😀😀😀
💙☮💙☮💙☮💙☮💙☮💙
@Deborah Cornell
Gosh, you have no perception of how I envy you... I wish I had been there with you.
The man who took the pick from you should be cast out of the Hendrix fan community.
I get angry just thinking about it.
Anyway, to have had the possibility to see Elvis live seems unreal.
You`re a lucky lady! God bless you ❤
i have so many songs for you that are different from what we are used to brother, long bkack limousine, i am leaven, silvia, etc.... and all rehearsals and his voice is not not normal here
Gr from Amsterdam
Great reaction as usual!! You always make me smile and laugh😊🤣 Did you put any thought into getting a full length cutout board of Elvis that I suggested before to stand behind you looking over your shoulder your fans and Elvis’s fans can enjoy looking at him 🔥👀👑💛🔥 Will you please let me know if you read this and what you think about this idea…
Ty
So good, can watch Elvis every hour, ray.
This man sure had beautiful hair, and he was perfect 🥰 💞 👌 😍
YOU HAVE TO PLAY DOWN IN THE ALLEY BY ELVIS. UNBELIEVABLE.
@@ikewp901 didn't know that, great, thanks.
I am so happy you are playing his music
Wow love thst performancr
Cissy was gone at this time she only did one year with Elvis. The remaining Sweets were Myrna, Estelle and Sylvia. Estelle is still alive as is Cissy. Cissy appeared in the 25 Anniversary Special.
He is out of this world! Powerful soul train named Elvis
The infinity King The hamble man no one come close
I look forward to your videos, even when I’m having a bad day when I start watching you, my whole day, turns around, from Elvis to Upchurch, I’m with you, Elvis was one fine hunk of meat!!
His drummer was the best...he had a great time with him
That was fun!
Time for a elvis playlist
You make me laugh so much. Thank you. You know it's not the same but you can get copies of Elvis rings under 100 dollars online. Better than nothing. 😃
