Anyone who objects to this should be asked, "do you think the Church is an institution?" I would not say that they use the Eucharist as a weapon as much as a fear-driven narrative related to what they might define as salvation. Non-affiliation with the Pope's church results in loss of salvation according to them. @@observingyt6159 Catholics believe the Orthodox have true Churches, apostolic succession and priesthood all seven sacraments including Christ's Real Presence in the Eucharist. So it begs the question, why do they need to be Catholic (in Rome's eyes)? Rome teaches dogmatically that if you do not submit to the Pope in THIS life that even if you die repentant or even as a martyr you have NO CHANCE of being saved! That is how far the papal idolatry of Rome goes.
I don't know what "Catholic teaching" refers to, the Pope's church is neither Roman nor Catholic nor has it ever been or has ever sought to be. In fact it was created by Charlemagne in the 9th century to oppose and compete with Christianity and the Roman Empire. There is only One Eucharist just as there is only One God and One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church and it is Orthodox. I don't really care what the "teachings" are of the other heterodox Christianities to include the Pope's church.

I can also quote Saint Gregory Palamas where he relates that those following the Pope's religion are living in obedience to satan. I spent 13 years in the Pope's church during which time I pursued the priesthood and was part of a uniate religious community, both of which constituted abusive relationship.
I know they call it the CC but the Pope's church is not the CC founded by JC. The Pope's church was founded by Charlemagne in the 9th century and since it's inception has done everything it can to compete with and subvert the actual CC that has since been referred to as the Orthodox Church.
