It's always fascinating to see Space Mountain with the light on! Seeing all the twisted track and seeing some of those clearances look pretty low. I never hold up my hands while riding lol. Thanks 4K, I could ride the Peoplemover all day.

I can just imagine once Tron opens, while riding the people mover, you can see the coaster running and people screaming of excitement while riding Tron, and seeing it from the people mover it would be so cool. I can just imagine this happening one year from now. Can’t wait for opening day!
So much to appreciate in this short video. A rare lights on look into Space Mountain. But also that Tron is coming along nicely. But oddly even as cool as it will be to have Tron and to ride it I'm happier about the fact that it will mean the return of the WDW Railroad. It has felt so strange that such an iconic and classic piece of the park has been effectively missing for so long.
I will be 70 next month, and I think I rode this first time in the 1970’s on my first trip. I always go on People Mover, yes a classic and favorite. Great video quality, I have been subscribed at least a year now. Thank you.

This was my favorite ride in Tomorrowland when I was a kid. I'm happy it's still running. I was too small for Space Mountain and the other rides either had long lines or didn't interest me. I would sit and ride this over and over. It was also neat to see Space Mountain lit up, looked like a breakdown since there were a few spots you could see guests in the ride cars that weren't moving. Thanks for posting!
They need to put something in where Stitch’s Great Escape used to be, if only to fill in the dead air as the PeopleMover makes its way down that part of the pavilion.

I know I've said this every time you've made a video but I'm going to repeat how badly I want to go on this ride! I've been to Disney World 4 times and never ridden it. 🥺 The first 3 times I was young and dumb and just wanted to go on the roller coasters. The last time I went was in October of 2020 and I was determined to go that time (thanks to your videos 😁) but it was closed for the big repairs it was doing 😭. I will get on this ride and some point in my life!
For a long time it seemed like the PeopleMover was an under-appreciated gem of WDW--fans knew about it but there was never a wait to ride it. Now, it seems like the secret is out and it actually gets lines.
Beautiful picture quality especially in the dark. The Land of Tomorrow diorama looked amazing in this video. And I never realized that there was a pit in the scene that was the mars landing area for space mountain exit. What camera/cell phone do you use for low light.
I remember seeing The Charlie Daniels band at the Tomorrowland Theater and Stevie Wonder during the daytime parade on the same day. Also in the late 70’s. Such fond memories!

Had u seen the Funko Min/Mic/Pluto PMover set😍? So let's see; that leaves you to be evacuated as what's needs to be filmed on the PMover! I’m so glad it worked out like that! I have seen it with the lights on before, but never filmed it back then! Yes, I did see that Funko set! Very tempting to purchase, but am holding myself back lol. But hopefully I’ll get evacuated off the PeopleMover one of these days! I did see the electrical parade video from Disney and it was great! I always enjoyed riding the people over though I don’t recall it ever sounding so rickety. One thing I’ve always loved about Walt Disney World (beyond just the whole thing) was how varied and efficiently they’ve incorporated mass transit systems. If they ever decided they weren’t making enough from entertainment and theme parks, they could make mint designing transit systems for airports, larger areas and just city-wide transit systems.
The last time I was at _Disneyland_ was in 1981, and this is my memory of Space Mountain, the ride, as it wasn't functioning properly when we went on it and the lights were on. I have no idea what it looks like to ride it with the lights off. lol
That is quite the noisy ride. Clackity-clack along the rails. Must be getting old and worn out. I don't recall it being noisy at all way back when I first visited Disney World, or when they first had that kind of ride at the 1964 World's Fair in New York.
Pro tip: Next time you ride the People Mover (TTA) and you pass the model of Walt’s vision of EPCOT, instead of looking left, look right. You will see a wall.
There's totally enough space between you and the roller coaster that they could build something more visually stimulating there. Not sure what, though.
Btw for anyone that wants to know, that model is the original vision that Walt Disney had for EPCOT. Hence the name “Experimental Prototype for the Community Of Tomorrow.” It would’ve been a legitimate and fully functioning city with really radical ideas like a public people mover and main community hub, which is that tall tower in the center.
Disneyland needs to smarten up, cough up the required funds and restore it's People Mover back to what it was. I always enjoyed a relaxing ride on the PM in the middle of an active day at the park.
Great Video, and thanks for sharing it with those of us who wish we were there. So this is probably the first TTAPM video I have watched since they reopened it. When did they remove Mickey's line "It's outta this World", when passing Mickey's Star Traders? Not that it bothers me, but I did notice it when I was expected to say that line, in my head, and did not hear it. Also it was not until tonight, that I noticed the nice amount of space you have between the different trains. It is almost like you have your own train.

They probably removed it because the store is now just called “Star Traders” instead of “Mickey’s Star Traders” . They should have still kept it though
Disney was foolish to shut this down at Disneyland. While never an exciting attraction, it had a high capacity and was an enjoyable way to tour Tomorrowland. Now it just sits there, decomposing...
I miss the old PeopleMover at Disneyland, especially the part where you go through the Tron scene. Michael Eisner really ruined Disneyland when he was in charge.
When did the Peoplemover get so loud? Sounds like a Six Flags kiddie coaster instead of the future of indoor public transportation. Everyday I am more reminded of how little respect anyone at Disney has for Walt’s dream and his ideas of providing guests a perfect experience. The days of when everything was spotless and guests were “transported” to a land where you wouldn’t find so much as a sidewalk crack or a paint chip. Unfortunately, where Walt saw guests, now all they see are wallets. Where guests use to see the vistas of their imaginations in picture perfect real life, now they see decades old construction sites. Remember the old days when rides like the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean were practically built without so much as a traffic cone and then the magical day when suddenly they were open? Sadly I don’t think think that magic will ever return…😔
I've not only had this happen to me, I've also had the house lights turn on while I was on Space Mountain itself. Right at the top of the lift hill, no less.
Not this one, it's the one in Tokyo, in 2024. And it's for a complete ground-up rebuild. Maybe other parks will follow suit someday, but the owners of the Tokyo resort have always had deep pockets and a willingness to spend big in ways that Disney doesn't necessarily. The current Tokyo Space Mountain (like the Hong Kong one) is a clone of the one at Disneyland, with somewhat different theming. It sounds like they're going to replace it with a completely new Space Mountain befitting the 21st century--might be a great ride.
There is NO MORE "OFF SEASON" in Florida anymore, so forget about it. High prices, more crowds, more traffic, more crime, etc. And if you think you are going to move to Florida and work at Disney think TWICE! Here are the going rates for rent. 1 Bedroom $1,900 & 2 Bedroom $2,500. No joke! And buying a house in Florida has risen 40% and is the highest cost of living in the USA. PS... Don't forget to tack on the bills...electric, disposal, food, water, insurance etc. Don't say I didn't warn you!
I wouldn't want it to always be like that, but I think it's an interesting glimpse behind the scenes if it happens once in a while. I got this view once, and thought of it as my compensation for not being able to ride Space Mountain that day.

I did almost it once, in 2019 we were a lot tired, and we stayed after lunch for almost 4 hours on the people mover... lol
