So basically it is okay if the prices are rising but we need to make sure that our income also increase so that our purchasing power doesn't decrease .
Or you can also reduce your consumption and stop buying non-essentials. All in all, the effect is the same: the economy slows down because money doesn't circulate as fast from buyers to sellers to farmers. >__
That's correct. But it still will have an impact on inflation. With increased income, the consumer will want to purchase more, and the demand will rise, resulting in demand-pull inflation.
I have read this topic in 9th scert book but didn't understand. Now it is completely clear... tq very much sir🤓👌👏🙆 and thank God for this intelligent as well as kindhearted teacher.
Amit g plz make full series on economy (upsc). Ur concepts are much clear than so called tutors on diff platforms...only money minting . Better to go for basic economy topics
Sir the CPI is of different types and the CPI you are explaining is CPI(at all India lvl) rural+urban and it is measured by CSO under Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation.
Instead of selling in mandies farmers should form a cooperative and sell the produce directly in retail market with the help of government...win win for both farmer and consumer...and a lesson for middle man
Sir, I have a small request. Since many watch your video and it is so informative, some people are not much influenced by English, still, they need these lessons, can you give the captions on so that they can follow the description and terminologies.
WPI - Office of Economic Adviser, Ministry of Commerce and Industry CPI - National Statistical Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI)
Excellent lecture. Thank you very much,Respected Sir. Respected Sir, please, upload comprehensive lecture series on "Latest Economic Survey 2020-21" & please, keep on uploading the rest lectures on rest 4 parts of "Union Budget 2021-22" for UPSC CSE 2021 Exam Preparation. .🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You are doing a great job Sir, teaching students on free of cost... Just a small correction at 2:22 CPI data published by "Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation"... Just a well wisher....🙏🙏🙏
No....wpi is published by the office of economic advisor and cpi is published by the central statistics office.. He did use the correct word just didn't mention it properly..hope u got it😊
Trading Economics states: "Central Bank Balance Sheet in India increased to 32452.02 INR Billion in February from 32293.65 INR Billion in January of 2022." It was 20000 INR Billion at the end of 2019 and was a s high as 35000 INR Billion a few months ago. That's a 75% increase in the Central Bank Balance Sheet, reflecting a massive increase in money supply.
Great lecture! Your voice is so soothing to hear! Sorry, I don't have an economics background so I have a doubt- If Govt increased MSP in June, then why don't all farmers sell to the Govt instead of selling at a loss in the market? I am a novice so my question may be silly but I would be grateful if somebody answered me...why doesn't the Govt procure everything at MSP and then say sell it to the private sector so that the farmers are not directly exposed to pvt players who could potentially exploit them? Or why isn't MSP kept as a floor price for procurement even in the open market?
Government incresed the minimum support price due to the complaint of the farmers and without the consent of private purchasers. And Government's duty is not like a merchant.
Real God In teaching and makes everything easy to understand..!!
