At Bristol Cathedral we also used to get faster and sharper everytime we did it, and the conductor would storm off to the organ loft!!!!!
Do you hear that rockin overtone on the last chord? AMAZING!!!
Sam Dollins WOW
doesn't hurt to have an 8 second reverb ;-)
A very fine choir, in a fabulous acoustic with just intonation singing will do it, every time.
Merci de ce partage
bravi!!!
NOSSA!!!
😍
Usually not. There are many instances where the choir sings a capella, with the organ entering in the same key the choir just left, and there is no tuning issues.
I really meant that I don't see the necessity of the organ participating at all.
the score allows both ways. having organ or even brass ensemble doubling choral parts wasn't uncommon in the renaissance.
I don’t see the need either, unless the choir gets pitchy.
I agree.
Would they go out of tune acapella?
er, no.
Jews like this song so much
Why???
