  • This backyards was EXTREMELY tall and she was happy I couldn't mow it for free!! Today is day 2 out of 7 OVERGROWN lawn makeovers in one week. If you didn't know I am POSTING a new OVERGROWN lawn makeover EVERYDAY for the next WEEK!! Hopefully I can pull it off. I have to find the yard, mow the yard, edit the video and post the video at 3pm florida time Everything day the next 7 days. As I was mowing the first yard yesterday the kind lady said her sister in lawn needed a little help with her backyard and that was what we knocked out today.       with the free mowing, edging, trimming, please ask that they pick up their things from the yard before you start, including trash, and ask if there's anything lying in the yard that isn't supposed to be there.. that's the least they could do in exchange for a free transformation...

    Bless you, I'm 61 years old and disabled, and I try very hard to keep up with my yard, I even get compliments, but I always can't keep up with it, and soon the time will come when I just can't. soon I will be selling and hope a young family will come in and keep it the way I do.

    I find it extremely rude of the homeowner not to pickup the trash in their backyard, before you arrive. You are very kind and caring person. You always do a great job.

    I think it's great what you do the only thing I have is the people know that your coming so why don't they clear up their own rubbish in there garden and help out that way since you are not charging them for the job.

    The homeowner's tone seemed insincere but at least she said thank you. Too, she knew you were coming over to give her a free service and she did not have anything cleared from the tall grass to be cut. She expected you to do it.     I had a 2 week old baby, my mower broke, I borrowed my neighbors finished my yard. He came over and weed eatered for me. Nice neighbor.

    It's a shame that some people who need help can't accept it gracefully. The husband was grateful enough to make it easier by removing the fence panel. Try to ignore negative reactions and just do it to make you feel good Al. 👍👍❤️

    Wow if my yard was in need of services like you gave this yard. And I lived there/the home owner I would be out there picking up the trash & moving things off the grass if I physical could do it. That's the least I could try to do to help. After all you are doing those yards for free.

    I'd say for me the first shots of trimming the side of the house were the most satisfying - watching the pipes, plant pots and planks get carved back into existence was (*chef's kiss) choice!

      I’m always surprised that you don’t come in contact with more wildlife in the horrible lawns that you clean. I mean Florida has all kinds of exotic lizards, snakes, rats, raccoons, fire ants wasps , gators. We have some of those in Texas too. No pythons or huge lizards yet but, we might some day if they spread west. 😮

    Mr. Al you are such a blessing, It's so sad when some folks will take advantage of peoples kindness, but I believe you can do the 7 days and that the Lord will show you where your next yard is going to be these next few days. Continued Blessings on your channel.

      We must think of our generosity as unconditional & not think why people are in the position they are in or if they are taking advantage of the situation.
      I see a once beautiful back yard with the happiness & laughter of children jumping on a trampoline while dad grills hamburgers on the grill & mom makes lemonade / side dishes. I only hope & pray there was no tragedy here for all the sudden everything got dropped & soon no one was outside having fun in the back yard anymore.
      I hope you are blessed with goodness in your life but unfortunately some families run into tragedies… like a child getting cancer or dying in an accident.

    Al your a good man and do good work, sorry their mower was stolen but I don't see how that would have kept them from picking up their trash and I have never seen or heard of anyone using a lawn mower to pull the vines off their house.

      Homeowners insurance doesn’t cover stolen lawn mowers so you can get a replacement mower? Huh!

    The people who fortunate enough to get work done by Al are blessed. He does great work I could only be so lucky. No one in my area would help any one like he does. I have 7 archers and I'm a widow I need someone with a bush hog but I don't everyone that lives next to me does but none of them is like Al . Bless you Al 🙏

    AWESOME job on this site. You’re a good man with an amazing soul. Funny the front yard looked fine. I would have been a snot when told the lawn mower had been stolen from the front and quipped “When - 2005??” Love your work, bless you.

I only have one request for you: Please protect your hearing, I don't see any hearing protection headphones on yours. Why aren't you wearing one?     Hey Al! Big fan of the channel. Quick tip I got from a landscaper friend - for pulling vines off gutters and such, he actually uses an old RV awning pull rod. They’re long and skinny, and are slick at getting behind the vine.

    Hi Al under these circumstances, its a good thing that you have a ride-on mower, or youd be there longer than a day, what a great job.
