I don't know if it's just me, but after realizing it's been five years since Copycat was released, I started crying. I never realized it had been so long, like, I was there the day it was released. As a (somewhat) older Vocal synth fanatic, it can really be emotional to realize it's been so long already. It feels like just last year 715 was released. I've cried watching this video multiple times since last night, haha
Circus never fails to make beautiful-and relatable-songs. I love hearing this version as much as the original already.

Besides, if you had checked Copycat's video, it literally says it right there, as well as it's in the description of this video. @@digikaa honestly, same. A lot of Circus' sad songs (and even comeback songs such as Hello, Again) absolutely wreck me because I've experienced similar, if not the same, situations. It's honestly really sad, but at least we'd had something to make us feel better, even if only for a little while.
Goodbye is almost 10 years old now, and whenever I see that it is, I'm probably going to lose my mind. Circus' songs are just really cathartic for me, especially in my darkest moments. Thankfully, I've gotten better tho. I hope that you are too tho!!

What I find really interesting is that since we now have a Chinese version to cross-reference, if you give trust to 大九_LN's lyrics you can see "Copy that copycat", which in english has ambiguity between meaning "Will do, Copycat!" and "Imitate that imitator", here now means the second one, like "その模倣者を真似る"
(Id always thought of it like the first, so im holding both in my mind, just thought this was neat)
