- All roads lead to Newcastle for the final round of SuperEnduro 2024!
Fresh off a another winning result in Bulgaria, and with one hand on the world title, we caught up with Billy in his hometown ahead of this weekend’s final round held in the Utilita Arena, which is just a stone’s throw from his childhood home.
We hooked Billy up with a Norden 901 Expedition to give us a tour around the city. Starting out at Bill’s favourite stadium, St. James’ Park, we head to his grandparents' garden where he first learned how to spray the champagne, in this exclusive look at the life of the multiple world champion.

Woke up this morning and this was the first thing I watched, man it made me smile. I can't thank Billy and Husqvarna enough for this. I remember my childhood being similar so this was excellent. Gave me huge smiles and chuckles. "Mostly ended up on the top step of the podium" hehe love it. Thanks Billy, keep up the great work and putting time in with the kids. Top stuff.

I lived in Sunderland in 2005, visited Newcastle now and then. Now I'm back home in Idaho. Loved seeing the old sites again through your eyes. Billy would have been 8 years old back then...Howay the lads!

The toon was wicked back in the day for flying about on a crosser or field bike or road bike on the field's. Once motorbikes gets into your blood it never leaves you. Good luck at the weekend.

I couldn't imagine what he'd do it he grew up in Texas! Daylight to dark, you'd never ride the same place twice in one day. If I had to stay at my grandparents house, I eventually convinced my parents to just let me ride my XR80 and then my YZ125 by riding the 3.5 miles through the woods and calling them beforehand!
Those woods were all sugar sand, always loose and your front tire would just plow through that fine sand. Really good sand to see every water moccasin out sunning! It's the only time she you'd almost get hurt, drifting around a corner flat out and throwing a leg over the bike to avoid a strike... Well, it was the only time I'd nearly get hurt until it was time to start working on my whips on my YZ125!
