I said once and say it again: A GOOD BAND IS ALWAYS GOOD BAND, even if the first singer (Isaac Slade) is not here anymore. Move on people, these guys still rocks and the guy in vocal sings really well.
@@UNBEK4NNTE Actually, the guy was already in the band before, he used play bass or guitar when Isaac was the lead singer. His name is Joe King. After Isaac leave the band, they had a break time period and now they're back and the guitar/bass man is the lead singer now.
@@kristopherschermerhorn998 His voice is very soft and relaxed, I really like the style of the band now. I used to like before as well, but now is different, the song are not so sad as used to be, I think. I don't know which one is better, I don't have opinion on this... I like Isaac's voice and also like Joe King's voice and the way he sings, more soft.
definitely one of my new favorite songs, i heard this song on a video of it played live and i really liked it, i was looking forward for this song for a long time. this song was 100% worth the wait and is way better than i expected even though i had high expectations.
I’ve listened to this several times since yesterday. For some reason it makes me think of my son who passed. Like he’s telling me to keep going. I love this. ❤
I'm sorry 😁 my english IS not toi good, but let me tell u that i love u, i remember " ungoodly hour " was my favorite title....i thought that your band IS over, so i just received notificación from youtube... Love & peace from Algeria 🇩🇿
Welcome back. One day last month l felt particularly connected with my grandpa who passed away when l was a kid. That day l understood the reason why he died and that was because, amoung other, that he could not save me from what was abusive with me. The same day l went groceries. And got a moment when the music was so clear in the store system. It cought my attention as the rithm was known to me, singing How to save a life. That song inspired me to do the right thing for him! Maybe l m crazy but l think my grandpa loves your sound. I also did in the past, and after that groceries moment l started listening again to the goldies that never die. Thank you Glad you are back ❤❤❤
I listen to The Fray for more than 10 years, I'm glad they're back with a very different style. More rhythmic, I feel is another type of songs, different from what it used to be. This is not a criticism comment, I'm a very old fan and I notice the melody is very different than before when Isaac was in the band. I like the old songs when Isaac was there. But I agree Joe King has a better vibe and the songs now are cooler than before, it's not so melancholic that it used to be with Isaac as the lead singer. I enjoy now and enjoy the old tracks, it doesn't matter.
i hope it does get viral, genuinely such a good song. many people were saying the fray is not the same but its hard for bands to be the same thing after almost 20 years and a major member leaving the band
@@_hyacinthmacaw Joe turned The Fray around. A band known for its piano-driven music and sad songs, to a band fresh/upbeat and inspired. No more nasal vocals or raspiness from the old lead singer. Just clear and intelligible vocals that make the music listenable for the first time in years. Joe should have been the frontman from the start. This is what was missing.

Your music helped me through my middle school and high school years. Now it’s helping me through my adult life. Thank you The Fray!
Same here. ❤
Same. I was bullied a lot. Their music got me through it.
Rainy Zurich was one of my favorite The Fray song, so good to see you guy are back with new songs!
So crazy even without Isaac on this EP I could have heard this and totally pictured it being on an older Fray album. Love it.
Exactly what I thought!
This sounds like a classic song by The Fray that could’ve been on their first or second album.

I actually like his vocals better than Isaac’s 🤷♂️
I didnt even notice they have a new singer haha

Joe King has been in the band since the beginning, so they’re in good hands and this is proof.
feeling real happiness for the release of an album by a beloved band is something that I also wish for young people today, thanks the Fray
