Rose Cherrybear & My Parthenocarpic (Pat-b) History

- This year, I focused on 4 parthenocarpic varieties I'm breeding, Brandybear, Thunderbear, Rose Cherrybear, and Romabear. The "bear" at the end is synonymous with bearing fruit almost always which is a trait of parthenocarpy and my parthenocarpy is known as Pat-b. Pat-b will bear fruit even when not pollinated, and if not pollinated, the tomatoes will not have seed in them.

Love talking about parthenocarpy and my lines. That means talking to you. Got questions? Leave a comment, like, and sub to hear more.
That's a long road you're on my friend. Since you can't control how others 'see' or believe in your vision don't get frustrated. Our expectations of others usually leads to incredulity . We all have different agendas and outcomes may not be in line with each others needs at the time.
Scrolling thru your history "at 25% speed on settings", It seems like you've checked off most of the boxes available to you.
Sometimes the world isn't ready for or finding the need for a better mousetrap...at least at the commercial level. Those of us that wish for a better one may not care how we can get our hands on one...just make it available directly, by-passing the commercial venues.
Bhp gardener...great guy. Larry Hall (RIP) RGGS as you know is the way I grow most of my vegetables. I haven't modified his system to hydroponics but see the possibilities for doing so. I wanted to run things as 'low tech' as I could and only find one weak link ( the float) in it.I was tired of watering a couple of times a day in 100+ degree days of summer so his system worked out great for me. Also had less fruit cracking.
Altho I follow his YT channel, I ran into pretty much the same issues on FB with Gardening Fundamentals... if I couldn't back things up with reviewed case studies his group would blow things up on you even if you were sharing your experiences.
I've sent info to other YT garden channels with links to correct misinformation and have had all my comments removed and I'm pretty sure I've been banned. Must be me. I can live with that.
Thanks again for the share. Opening up to us means a lot. Keep up the good fight and Happy Gardening to you my friend.
@@petersoos498 I had expected more from all those who make a living and $$ from their decisions. At the very least, some back and forth leading to testing and validation. My goal is to release the capability one way or another for sure. I don't like to censure opinion, but occasionally ban right-fighters who badger over and over. Less than 5 maybe since 2012.
Will any of your varieties be available to the home gardener?
@@chesterandchristiedavis7134 I will make sure of it. If you watch the scroll at the end, you'll see I'm partnered and what we're trying to do. I have the ultimate say so and I'll makie sure it gets out as soon as possible. I really dislike how long it's taking.
Brent, can you give us an update on your efforts to commercialize these tomatoes? Many of us would love to see that happen! David from Mobile
Check out the scrolling towards the end. I'm contracted till Summer 2025 and am limited by my partner's work at the moment. I will make sure it's released even if I have to lose all the profit potential and give to the public directly. Please stay tuned.
