This game was...yikes. It's like the dev looked at the Postal games and said "We should do that, just without any of the humor and entertaining gameplay."
Most of what you complained about (besides clunky gameplay) is in the 3rd mission and on. The first two are more of a tutorial in my opinion. Kinda giving you an idea of what you can and can't do. The game is honestly exactly what it's trying to be, a top down twinstick shooter. I'd honestly say the only problem with the game is the enemy AI. There isn't any. They all know where you are no matter where you go, and they all have a shiny new aim lock feature(no matter the difficulty level). I got this game to just sit back, turn my brain off and just spew carnage. It's definitely not a good game, you got that right, but I'd say it's aight for a brain dead time waster for five bucks. I only made this comment because it was clear your "review" was based off of the first level, and I feel like if you're gonna continue trying the route of reviewing games, you need to at least get in a solid amount of gameplay if you're going to review a game and actually give a clear picture of what it really is. I hope you take criticism well, I just happened to stumble on this video to see if anyone was talking about the games horrible AI. Best of luck with your channel.
@I41 To respond to your last bit first, I generally prefer to choose early mission/game footage in all my videos to avoid spoilers, not that in this case the game has much of a plot, but that's just my general philosophy. As for the rest, why are you upset I complained about later missions? Would it have been better if I only reviewed the first two intro levels? I'm not sure I understand you there. But thanks for the feedback!
@@WarriorDan No no I think you misunderstand me. I was only saying that some of what you complained about the game, more weapon choices, or objective progression progress are actually featured later in the game, which made me believe you only played maybe the first two levels. The game is bad I agree completely, and it runs poorly yeah. I only meant its probably best to play most of a game in future to fully get a good idea of a game to faithfully review it. If you did do that, I just couldn't notice so this doesn't really matter. I wasn't upset by this review at all, I just noticed a few things and thought, "hey, maybe I could give this guy some constructive criticism that I noticed would hopefully be helpful".
@I41 I played about 4 and a half levels, then gave up, because nothing on earth could compel me to play further. However, due to wanting to keep it fairly spoiler-free and because seemingly my video capture program hated the game more than I did, some of the later footage was not very presentable anyway. Btw I wasn't upset by your feedback, just confused by it, so don't take offense at my prior response.
@@WarriorDan You're all good, I didn't take it negatively at all. I completely understand stopping where you did cause I did the exact same thing. I had only noticed those two points so I was under the impression maybe you didn't get to those later levels. No one is missing anything important from the game though that's for sure lol. I hope your channel grows 100%. You were nice and open which is great from a youtuber. Best of luck!
@I41 Thanks! I try to respond to all feedback I get and keep it in mind as I make future videos! You might try watching some of my newer videos. They tend to be longer and more in-detail than these older and shorter ones, which was something I'd heard many comments ask for. The change in length worked for me, my channel's nearly doubled in size in the past year as a result. Feedback always helps me re-evaluate and figure out what's best for the channel, so I appreciate everything you've told me. Have a great day!
