    Sid, that was a fascinating video. Especially life under the microscope. You actually managed to capture some bacteria. Amazing. For the parasites, jeezz, that was a lethal cocktail of them and I hope he will be able to eradicate them. Although you were in teeshirt so that was probably a summer or autumn video. You have an amazing microscope and skills to use it.

      Ha ha so behind in uploading numerous videos I took over the summer. It is very cool and amazing to be able to see bacteria and their various movements under the microscope. I just hope I get more spare play time. Thanks for the wonderful comment.

      @@KoiRun50 it's a Nikon microscope you have? Obviously a great one.

    Great video Sid but I wouldn't be happy if my pond was above 0 for chlorine 26 is very high, also having those rusty metal grids over the pond will be causing all sorts or problems as they will be zinc plated and dripping rusty water into the pond, I hope you guys manage to sort everything though 👍😊

      @KoiRun50  Год назад +1

      That’s a good point about those metal grids Jamie. The strongest survived in this case I suppose.

    Good that they got some fry before...
    You were able to capture a lot on the microscope.
    Wow a bit of everything!!

    Sid, this is fascinating. Sorry about the fish. I can believe those bacteria did that much damage.

    I was like, Ooouugh, what! When you said kh 4 and ph 6. That is not a ph crash, that is an epic co2 poisoning. Not possible without artificial addition of co2. Glad you measured twice. Interesting pp lice test! I really dislike pp. My guess is gill damage from overusing PP. But I have 30 min left to watch after dinner.😀👍

      Ochhh should have read the title before watching 🤣🤣. Great vid with a lot of references for future microscopy. I have scraoed only a few times in my life and have never found anything. Now that I know well what I am looking for.maybe I find something. I find hydras as fascinating as you do. Considered pest in aquarium and medicated away. What a shame! Thanks for an epic video.

    • @KoiRun50

      Thanks Magnus. The hydra was a magnificent to watch. I hope it survived somehow^^ It seems that additions of fish and overcrowding are a couple of big factors that play a role in fish kills/parasites.

      @@KoiRun50 I totally agree. I see a lot of overstocked ponds on RUclips and in reality that dose a lot of medicins. I have done it once in 14 years I think my careful stocking is one of the keys. You know the other one. 🤣🤣👍
