I love Moby Sign Company. I have used them for all of my Haslab Proton Pack label upgrades. Great quality vinyl decals and very fast delivery along with customer service
I watch a lot of diecast toy car restorations, this was a familiar format to those. A total joy to watch from start to finish. great idea shown for the stickers. Priceless home video too! A terrific result Phil, she looks fab.
Had all the GB Kenner toys as a kid, was so lucky but the Ecto 1 was special to me because my Grandma got it for me in the gift shop at Universal Studios back when they had the live show. I lost all my stuff in a house fire in 2004 this being among the casualties. Was awesome seeing this again brought back some good memories thanks
I had the Ecto 1 and the fire house as a kid, my mother got rid of them when we made one of our cross-country moves. No idea where it ended up, but it's probably the only one out there with the blue rear window sticker applied to the INSIDE of the back door. Just bought the Hasbro re-release to replace it.
I've got one of those and plan on making it into a version that fits into our paranormal investigation company called Spirit Of Christmas Ltd. We're going to call it XMAS-1. Thank you for sharing this.
Bro, that sticker placement and fine cutting is incredible. Also the childhood videos add so much to this video, really adds to the nostalgic feeling when watching this! Great video, keep up the amazing work!!!
I ended up using a box of q-tips and a small container of window clear on the frame of the car. The car I purchased has black mold growing inside of the car so it took me a few hours scrubbing and cleaning.
I love seeing these old toys getting the love and care they deserve. Quick question though, I noticed my Extreme Ghostbusters has turned yellow over the years. I doubt it was from sunlight (the stickers and electronics the red paint everything else looks perfect). Maybe it’s because I grew up with folks that both smoked? Is there any way to restore the yellow back to white? I’d love to leave the stickers be. Any tips would be appreciated. It’s my favorite Ghostbusters toy since it does the siren like in the show and movies. I’m pretty disappointed to see it became so yellow though it’s sat parked in my firehouse on display in my room at my folks house for years.
Dude, that Ecto-1 is already in good shape. Compare to mine that doesnt have the back door, the res wings, the glass shatered, no roof sest, no claw or functional mechanism.... funny that im from LATAM, so i guess it was expected, haha .... getmeoutoflatam.
hello! I just saw your video full of memories and I thought it was fantastic. I wish we all had childhood memories saved in videos and photos! and I have a question... the stickes for ecto 1, how big is the paper to be able to print? Greetings from Argentina.
Hello! Thank you so much for watching. I got the stickers from an Etsy shop from Moby's Sign Company. They Have both ECTO-1 and ECTO-1A stickers. Not sure the dimensions of the paper.
i remember getting the ecto-1 for christmas in the 80s and it blew my mind. it's one of those presents and christmases i'll never forget.
Oh definitely. I loved both my ECTO's and have very fond memories with them.

I knew that old sticker would find a new home! Glad you managed to keep it intact…
Yeah, I was happy that it still looked good. I couldn't bring myself to throw it away. Gotta keep original stickers around as long as possible.

A wonderful restoration and a lovely tribute to your dad. It was a nice touch for the saving of the original sticker.
Thank you so much. This was a fun project! I couldn't bring myself to just throw away a vintage sticker.
