This actually brings a bit of insight for us into the Persian kingdom in GOW series. Base on how the king only refers to the glory of the empire and doesn’t mentions any gods, and how he mocks the olympian gods by calling them “little”, It seems like they don’t have gods but their power comes from taming beasts (like the basilisk) and the demons (like the Efreet).
Most of the Persians, at least during the height of the Achaemenid Empire were Zoroastrians; a faith that follows one god. So yeah, it would make sense that who ever the Persian king in this game is based on (Xerxes, Darius, etc) would not think highly of the Greeks' deities.

@@hamizanyunos1502 Honestly, I wonder the exact same thing whenever God of War and other games involving ancient myths introduce characters of other religions. I guess they would just ascend or descend to their religion's version of the afterlife. That would probably be the least confusing way of addressing that question in stories like GOW

One thing to note about this is that, apparently, the sword was sheathed when the Persian King went to grab a handful of the gold in the original PSP version of the cutscene, but stayed stuck in his hand and as a result clipped through his body in this version. This is a testament to how in-engine cinematics are still very much subject to the rules of a game engine and can bug out as a result, even if the lighting, camera angles, added effects, and animations make it look more like a separately CG cinematic.

Shouldn't he still have this Power since it's not from Greece? It would be Funny If Kratos still has the Power of this Persian King Because the King is not Connected to Greece
And in typical Kratos fashion, he kills the king in the most brutal way possible, this time by pummeling him to death with one of his own chests. Apparently, he couldn't think of a creative way of using his blades for such a task.
UrielTheJudge I do think that Kratos has some sense of honor when dealing with his already defeated enemies that cant really defend themself any more. Like, in many cases, Kratos insists of using his bare hands or another object instead of his blades.
UrielTheJudge It's meant to be ironic, the King offered Kratos gold to spare his life and Kratos not only refused the offer but used that same gold to bash the King's head in.
“Sure, I’ll take the gold- but why turn traitor against my country and the gods I’ve sworn to serve when I can just kill you and take it then?”
This kill is one of the tamest in the franchise, honestly. Not to mention, the boss battle is also peanuts. It took me less than 10 minutes to beat the Persian.

Brandon Smith downloaded ppsspp then downloaded gow chains of olympos in rar . after that i downloaded an unrar program and extracted the file . then i addjusted the graphics / system on ppsspp for the game to run at least 30 fps . aaand thats it .
