There’s no sense in repeating other comments and it seems like many people have already been informative but one of my favorite details from the Jogo and Sukuna fight is the end where Sukuna acknowledges him as being strong whereas Gojo called him weak. Jogo is one of my favorite characters. I love how this show depicts different kinds of "humanity" and different ways of living. Despite knowing that reviving Sukuna would be a huge personal risk, he still chose to do it because that's the best way to usher in an age of curses. He still chose to fight Sukuna despite knowing his chances were low and that the penalty would be death, because he's true to his ideals, and is willing to put himself on the line for his fellow curses. His decisions, and his successes and failures with them, speak on the themes of self-sacrifice and what it means to be human. Compare Jogo to Kusakabe. The sensation Kusakabe said he felt from underground was most likely the fingers, same as Jogo and Megumi. He would absolutely die down there and he knows it, it would be foolish to die pointlessly if you could save more by living. Kusakabe acknowledges the lack of humanity in his decision, but then Jogo fighting demonstrates that humanity. Jogo believes that since curses are born from the negative emotions of humans, they are a "pure" expression of emotion and actual humans are contradictory for holding both positive and negative emotions. I think it's interesting to compare Jogo with Mahito, especially considering what Hanami said in this episode. Mahito was made from the hatred of other humans, a literal "human" curse, as opposed to a volcano or an ocean curse. In some ways, he's like an epitome of Jogo's ideals: a human who is able to be true to their negativity. It's interesting to note the ways he's like a curse and the ways he's like a human. As much as I was looking forward to your reaction to this episode for the spectacle, and the emotional moments like Megumi vs Toji, the next episode is basically inarguably the best of the season, and especially so in blu-ray. Messing up Toji's footing was Megumi trying not to die (by having Toji miss where he wanted to stab Megumi) because he wanted Toji close to grab him so he could kill him. Toji realized who Megumi was because they were face to face and they look alike.
Don't sleep on Jogo. The guy only really fought against Gojo and Sukuna who are in a realm of their own. But any sorcerer except special grade sorcerers would be folded by him.

@ lol I guess Yuta is stronger than him (reason I mentioned “kind of” alongwith the statement, but we do only see him in the JJK0 movie, so it was kind of an isolated thing) and maybe Fake Geto but he hasn’t done pretty much anything yet in terms of fights. I don’t remember anyone else strong enough that we have seen in combat who can match Jogo. (Megumi’s final boss pet doesn’t count because that’s a suicide technique) Maybe we’ll see more in the later seasons, who knows. Peace.

Toji took his wife's name Fushiguro as his, making Megumi also a Fushiguro at birth. He's glad to see that Megumi kept the name/didnt grow up in the Zen'in family, as this would have likely restored the Zen'in name. Even though in the anime it's not stated word for word, but sort of between the lines, at this point of the story in the manga POTENTIAL SPOILER it's known he was the outcast and hated member in the clan, since they value techniques so much. Hence why Maki is also an outcast. This is what led to Toji hating sorcerers, wanting to defeat Gojo, but above all hate the Zen'in. Still he was in the opinion that Megumi would grow up better in the clan as with him, as his wife died early and is completely depressed since, making his "confident" attitude a cope, as he casted aside all he truly believes in, in order to reach greater heights (at least what i think from how he behaves). Also he calls non-sorcerers and himself a monkey because that's what the clan called him.
7:13 Even being the absolute monster that Toji is, he wont even make it past a 3 finger Sukuna, even at 2 fingers Sukuna was able to use his domain back in S1, and that would olbiterate everyone except Gojo, and 3 finger Sukuna's speed and strength are comparable to Toji. And Sukuna and Gojo also have cursed techniques and reverse curse healing. And adult Gojo would also just one shot Toji at this point, this isnt to say that Toji is weak. Its just that Gojo and Sukuna are so insanely above everyone else that you cant even compare them.
