Elite HRV is excellent and I agree 100% with the review. Because of their adaptive and quick response to questions and remarks they show interest in their clients (which is rare these days). I am also convinced that they keep up with the advances in science!
Hi, thanks for the video. I would like to buy a hrv monitor for breathing exercises. I have seen that with the hearthmath inner balance app it is possible to see during breathing exercises whether we are coherent or not and consequently it allows us to improve and understand if we are coherent with each breath. Is it possible to understand with the Elite HRV app if we are consistent or not during breathing exercises? Also with the inner balance app it also has the breath viewer, does the Elite HRV app have something similar? Thank you
Not really interested in a daily hrv score. What I would be interested in is the heart rate time data. to see variability and see if there are occasions where the gap is bigger or larger, to see palpitations etc. During a run sometimes I think i have gotten a couple palpitations where it feels like you miss a breath or something
Is Elite HRV accurate with the Polar OH1 optical HR monitor? I keep seeing it extremely low in the 30's. My heart rate is showing fine but its saying "Signal quality is Poor". The camera HRV apps I tried are even worse showing 150-200.
Higher hrv when looking at your average is better and means you are recovered. Lower means you arent recovered. Things that lower it might be poor sleep, overtraining, alcohol consumption, etc. But dont compare your personal number to others its more about your average compared against your daily number and the direction its trending
Hi there ! When you are logging your morning reading, do you tag the exercise from the previous day ? Eg. If I had done a heavy gym session on Monday, and got a lower HRV score on Tuesday morning, would you tag the gym session on that Tuesday reading ? Thank you !!!
Helpful video, ive used it on and off but really got out of the habit of putting a strap on every morning. Im about to restart a streak to asses how much impact the volume for Ironman is having on me. My Garmin watch has it too but very little data analysis ability which is a shame.
Will a person with an abnormal irregular cardiac rhythm (due to PVC's or PAC's) be able to get accurate HRV information from an app like elite HRV and a polar HR strap??? Thanks
It will detect your hrv but you need ekg/ecg to detect those pvcs. Now whether its accurate or not...you would need to compare but it will be consistent. So its reliable just not necessarily valid

@@ericcarve4476 The device may work well. The app is not working properly. For some reason they decided to update the app when it wasn't necessary, and that created a lot of mess.
Hi Ray, you were also positive about HRV4training…which app or test method (maybe Whoop / Oura) you prefer best to get insight in readiness for training using HRV ?
Thank you, finally someone who answered a lot of my questions about the app

How do you use the App to monitor Heart Rate DURING exercise (walking)? I have pair it with my Powr Lab chest strap. thanks
Thank You Ray, Very informative
Thank you so much!
I use Elite and like it, thanks good review.

You need an ekg/ecg to monitor that. HRV/HR won't pick that up.
Lief monitor will do it
Wich is more accurate for HRV? garmin or polar+elite hrv?
Does it do real-time HRV monitoring?
Is Elite HRV accurate with the Polar OH1 optical HR monitor?

I’m right behind you regarding the payment. $10 one off payment I’m sure the uptake would be huge
my hrv is always very low like 7-10, thinking of getting this. why is it that u said when it’s lower you’d have trouble working out?

Polar H10 + HRV app vs BodyBattery? I'd like my sleep to be factored in. Whats your take on it?
Body battery for day to day recovery/training and HRV app for long term trends.

Can you explain LF and HF on the app?

How did you connect corsense to your phone? After the update, my device became a brick :/
I use a polar chest strap.

So you bought the CorSense and were not impressed?

Don't be so cheap, you are getting a lot for free it is just fair to pay a bit for the courses...
