Only a few weeks after launch and even less time since my previous video going over the sub 15 minute speedruns, runners have now been able to bring the world record speedrun under 9 mintues! So, here's how to speedrun the Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 unrestricted any% category and the game breaking path that runners have discovered within only a few weeks!

Companies should hire speed runners to test their games. Their ability to break a game is so astonishing, it should be a job.
@@P.H691they honestly shouldn’t fix these bugs though. It allows people to play both the intended way and fully experience the game while also being able to have fun breaking the game

They knew about this bug from the previous chapters, they probably leave it in because speedrunning is great advertisement for them.

Okay but the devs must know about the funky objects physics from the previous chapters. There's absolutely no reason for the chairs being made grabbable (also i think some of them in some areas aren't), and definitely not the barrels and gas canisters, so they must have honestly just added physics to these things just for the speedrunners to muck about!

Hey, Tetra here's something for lost bits. Now it is i the final map, but the player never interacts with it. First, behind the red door in one of the starting rooms in the play house, there is a Parkour/Platforming room, which then leads to another one, which leads to a dead end. You, can't see the first at all, but the second can be seen in little hole during the dogday chase scene. For the second, you can also briefly glimse at it during dogday. It's a giant water carasell type thing with ducks. You get to it by deleting part of the left wall of the room with the empty pool. Suprisingly you can ride on the duck in the water, and after pushing the red button on it to activate in you go along the ride and at the end you pull a lever to open up a gate, which works. After that you get out via cheats, since you can't do it by pressing the on the keybord. Then you go to the back of the neighbouring crashed pirate ship, go inside with the door, then go to the other door. There's a wall in front of you, which you delete and get to the jailcell area. So for the first I don't know why it's there, but for the second it may have been the original to get to the jailcell room.

What I appreciate about his videos is that he actually plays out the speedrun tactics himself, so I can see the tricks naturally instead of having to watch actual slowed down speedrun footage

I feel like the most important skip that can be achieved now would be a catnap skip, since that fight takes up so much of the run, skipping it would drop time by like 3 minutes

You can also save like 15 seconds using an air tank instead of the barrel
Maybe if somehow the boss batle with catnap was skipped, the run could go to 6 minutes ou lower

Anyone know how to get to the launch patch of the game? I have an idea for a challenge but It’s impossible without a certain glitch. I figured this was a good place to ask.

Here is my theory for chapter 4, once we are descended, we find out what the prototype has built out of the other toys, and after we fight the prototype and win in the end of the game, boxy boo strolls up and does to the prototype what the prototype has been doing to the other toys, and that's when boxy boo becomes the chapter 5 antagonist

I actually have a somewhat insane guess as to what hAppened to kissy missy. While yes I could just be the prototype, I like to think that the puppeteered dogday managed to survive and escape the playzone.
The fist Ollie section is actually skippable shown by "backseat streams"

I think it was backseatgaming. But he jumped the game and ran into the cable car without the puzzles and it started the cut scene anyway. If i am recalling this correctly
