I am the sort of human who looks such things up :D Wikipedia provides that Bernard Matthews 'moved on' in 2010. Although he never received a knighthood, so was not a "sir", he did obtain three highfalutin titles in his lifetime- [as per wiki] awarded the Queen's Service Medal (QSM) by the New Zealand Government in the 1989 (for services to the New Zealand meat industry), appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 1992 (the highest honour below a knighthood) and finally appointed Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) in 2007 (for services to the Duke of Edinburgh Awards)! BM's turkey slices were my standard sandwich filling for school lunch boxes for many years ^^
