I grew up in Hull in the 90s and I knew a few people like Combo. They're your mate but they're unpredictable and always on edge which makes them dangerous.

The series that followed are at least as good as the movie. The acting, impact, drama.. masterfully done. The fact that most people can relate to one or more of the used themes makes it organic, scary and confrontational.

Some great talent from the workshops..when I was little lad of 11-12 we had drama lessons and I was really good , gained confidence to act in front of peep etc... Came to the 3rd year where we chose our lessons and find that drama is not on the curriculum. I protested and was told there's not enough interested in it..I got a lot of kids to sign a petition saying they wanted to do it.. still it was refused and right there my acting career died..we lived in middle of nowhere with nothing to encourage such things. I ended up a drug user.

Thanks for uploading mate, I love that the film was all improv, bloody brilliant. From watching the bts I never seen much lighting, and multiple cameras on each scene l. Just wondering if that was the case throughout the film? I love the grittyness of it.

Nah ! Your thinking about rude boys ! ………..In the late 70’s / early 80’s Skinheads were all about punk & Oi! music, football hooliganism and Paki bashing ! If you were there you would know how it was ! Reggae was finished by 1969 /70

The guy explaining at the begining explained very well, in France the movment blew up around 83/84 and make national news beacause of the "ratonnades" which were random attacks 'even murders) on minorities and gay people, the right wing took over up North, Lille and the center, Paris where the "Boneheads"were very present, the hardcore groups, while the South part were more diversified and listened to reggae, then around 1987 the "red warriors"began to patrol the streets and places where the boneheads were and battles were violents...but at the end the reds were no better than the so-called bad guys....Lille North side
