This game is certainly in a much better state than MW 2019. At least there aren't cheaters in 90% of Search & Destroy games
I think Activision intentionally put cheater on MW19 to force players to quit the game to play newer cods. No one cared about Cold War at the time

I don’t play online so it doesn’t really affect me. But regardless I had way more fun playing MW(2019) than CW. But it’s all a matter of personal preference.

Bo1, Bo2, Bo3, Bo4 all have more similar mechanic than Cold War. Cold War has SBMM and shity optimization, also it never felt like a Black Ops since it was basically a Sledgehammer game @spideyfan1024

Cold War was NOT a downgrade, it just had a different style from the mw19
Fun fact : Cold War used to have their own animation in alpha build but people complaining abt animation so they had to change it to look like mw19

Unfortunately for some people it took them until now to realize that. Now all the MW19 enjoyers are silenced and moved to playing Cold War.
Just the zombies alone are enough to give it a try and play for DAYS, multiplayer is also very fun.
And the campaign is short but its good and presents new characters and continues the story of old characters
I’m sad that the story ended on a cliffhanger tho. I also miss the classic zombies playstyle where you start from a pistol and work your way up instead of using your load outs and the extra tier crafting. And these days, no one ever plays combined arms anymore. Which is a bummer because I love that mode. My personal gripes about this game.

Zombie in this game is boring AF bruh. I played like 3 maps and when you could drive over zombies with a car in an open world i uninstalled it. Garbage game.

@@CODA96i have to agree, BOCW Zombies is so lackluster, the „feel“ of the game, the story, presentation of it, the „characters“… the only fun thing in Zombies is, that you can grind the Aether Crystalls and the Dark Aether camo… where in the other Zombies experiences, i‘ve played them for how they‘ve felt, they had a lot more love and thought put into them.
I loved Cold War since Launch, I have always loved that Treyarch always went for more arcady style shooters. This is why we love Treyarch.
Agreed. Cold War is much faster paced and fun, whereas Modern Warfare is more slow and tactical.
Cold War is absolutely super-underrated... I spent about 18 Days of playtime total in-game. Around 11.5d in Zombies and 'bout 6.5d in Multiplayer and I'm still playing it every now and then to this day in '23.

I feel ya man I haven’t spent so much time into a COD since black ops 3, personally I prefer the arcade style of COD so Cold War checks that box, I have spent 11 days on zombies and 14 days on multiplayer, I have a child now so I can’t play zombies whenever I please so a few games of multiplayer a day keeps the doctor away
2:38 The PPSH-41 was used throughout the early Cold War by the Soviets, and was used heavily by East German Grenztruppen border guards (who feature in a mission of the Campaign). Additionally, it was present in every single proxy war that the Soviets were involved in, from Korea to Vietnam to Afghanistan, so I think it absolutely has a place in the game.

Underrated Call of Duty game, very good gameplay and the multiplayer maps are awesome. I’m still playing it, so much better than Vanguard and the stripped MW2.

@@AlexPlays1426now that the sbmm is pretty much gone, I like this game very much. Agree with the scorestreak system, but the maps, gunplay, perks and TTK are in my opinion so much better then modern warfare.

It’s so much better to rush in this game. Map design actually converges traffic and encourages close range gun fights. And flashlight attachment is so good for spotting campers.
I religiously stuck with this game when it was over hated and everyone left to vanguard now it’s considered “Underrated” LOLLL
I only bought it 2 days ago and I'm grinding it. It's my favourite cod game already. Lobbies are still alive too and the hacking problem is fixed. +Plague diamond and dark aether/dm-ultra is worth the grind. It's still worth playing now, you'll have fun, trust me. Worth every cent

Cold War did look good but the movement felt alittle weird compared to any of the older cods
I loved the feel of this one, idk why but since it came out I just loved it, it felt more like an old Call of Duty, the maps were amazing and looks wise I think it was the best CoD ever
I'm honestly really hoping for a Black Ops 5. Black Ops is my favorite series of cod. Loved bo3, loved bo4, hated all the others after that, except mw2019.

This will always be my go to COD. It’s the only one I won’t uninstall.
This was the last CoD made using the T8 engine, an iteration of the engine Treyarch has used since basically World at War, which is why it's the only one lately that feels the most like OG CoD. I'm thinking of playing this game until the next Treyarch game releases

I never got to play Cold War and I always pondered why the game was so vehemently hated. Sure there's bugs and I heard the campaign on launch was kind of busted and the Marshalls were absolutely butt-fucking busted with Akimbo but from my point of view, it feels more of a side-grade game to MW19 with a few different features, some good some not and it felt way more arcade than MW19. And on a more bias view, the game added one of my personal favorite weapons, the OTs-14 Groza, so really I don't see what made this game so unfairly hated.

The Cold war is the best version for multiplayers. The maps makes sense and they show the best play at the end

I hated Cold War when it released and kept playing MW2019.
Just shortly before Vanguard released Cold War became amazing.

The SBMM was what ruined the Multiplayer for me but I didn’t care that much since im a Zombies player, it was overall a pretty good game

Downloaded the game during the free PlayStation month and have been glued since, haven’t been interested in COD since the exosuits but the game feels very refreshing.

Just started playing this recently on the PS because it was free and I'm liking it alot more than MW2 and MW3 (didn't play the 2019 one). One thing I'd say about the Scorestreaks that I've found that if you're doing badly in match you won't be getting those high end streaks like the chopper gunner like he said in this video. If your not getting good streaks you simply don't earn enough points for them. So I find that it's pretty well balanced. People who are pretty bad at the game should still atleast get some low end ones like the UAV, Counter UAV, Care Package for example and contribute to the team.

Still sad the devs didn't double down on the identity of these games by designing skins that fit the theme and felt part of the universe instead of ridiculous clown skins and what not. Modern COD games just don't hit the same anymore. Imagine a game like WaW or BO1 with these skins. Would have ruined the vibe

This score streak system is way better. Makes rushing and gameplay fun, as opposed to people camping every damn corner and how slow the game is
BlOps: Coldwar was great but the SBMM combined with the scorestreak-system ruined it sometimes... I absolutely loved to play Fireteam Dirtybomb and Faceoff.. And 10v10 is always great ☝️😁
Truth be told, COD was ruined when Activision brought in SBMM, lootboxes and scorestreaks.
I just wish we can get a COD that takes it back to regular matchmaking, in game currensy/level up rewards, and killstreaks.

I've been saying this since release but if CW had no SBMM it would be undeniably the best since BO2.
Play it now. There are less players, so SBMM has either been removed or highly toned down to allow you to find a match. It's like old school COD again

This video genuienly makes me think about getting cold war, i played the free weekends when it first came out and i enjoyed the hell out of it, even zombies felt great too and i have been generally thinking about all the cods and which one would be worth getting and i have my eyes set on cold war the most right now, it's still somewhat relevant and better compared to the newest cods that are really bad in my opinion, i haven't even seen much content about the newer ones except i did play warzone 2 but it wasn't good enough and also mw3 seems boring af too but like cold war does seem quite interesting and i like the graphics because they kinda give me retro vibes and stuff so yeah definitely considering to go for cw, but the only thing which concerns me is the sbmm but other than that it seems great
People tend to forgot cod is arcade shooter and not a mil sim especially infinity ward

Great map design (outside of Armada Strike and WMD which are both horrible)
Polished spawns
The stimshot is amazing but it kinda renders every other tactical pointless
Terrible weapon balance
Legitimately amazing sound and visual design, the fact that the "ching" sound and a unique image appears with every kill is great
Snipers are legit just better than smgs at close range it's annoying AF
They tried to fix the antiquated streak system, it kinda worked but had a lot of unintended caveats too
SCREW SBMM, it's no joke the main issue with the game

I come back to this game every couple of months whenever I get bored of Fortnite and Halo. One of my favorite games ever. Only thing I don’t like about it is the lack of a Hardcore mode.
There is a hardcore mode. Select quick play and then press L1/LB (whatever that translates to on PC) and it brings up the hardcore playlist. It is there, just hidden by the terrible menus

There's an info button for the guns on MW2 and 3 so you know it has percents and full dials of the range range BV and DR all that so you know its just not known

I can't even play this game on pc. It keeps closing all the time. Tried everything to fix it but the game just doesn't want to run. As soon as I open the game, a few minutes later it just shuts down. Anyone else?
No I don't have this problem mine just loads slowly but that's the only problem I have

I knew it was good since the beginning I played it for every season, I earned all the rewards, and I knew what it was like before the marshals and tec 9 it was even funnier then, and I pulled off the m16.
With this game i hade my fun expecially grinding the gold camos on the snipers whas such a blast🎉
