i have a6400 it is the best and better camera for video recording as it have better auto focus comes in handy while shooting in wedding enviroinment both camera have similar quality but sony can continuously record 4k videos with out stopping and it wont over heat and stop recording if youre in hot temperature whereas nikon z50 have 29minutes recording limit you have to start recording every 29 min and it does over heat if used under hot temperature this is the major reason why i choose sony a6400 and another major advantage is you can connect a powerbank and continuously record if your battery is low in sony whereas you cannot use nikon z50 while its connected to a charger and i forget yet another advantage which is the lens sony use emount lens only so all the lens available can be used on 6400 in future if you upgrade your camera to a full frame camera in sony you can use the same lens on that too
