This film did so well at the box office that Harry Melling was able to get arms and legs. Incredible.
Hahaha 😂
Alice and Mr Knapp!! So good and so sad
Harry Melling was absolutely amazing in his role!
I loved Zoe Kazan, she really centered the whole thing imo :)
U mean dudley
Milton from Office Space as the Pan Shot dude was all that. He didn't care about the banks cash he feared losing his swingline!
Christine Simon That’s exactly what i thought!
Need to make a full movie of Buster Scruggs!
Ditto that.
I’ve watched this film three times already! It’s so rich in its writing, its visuals, its simplicity yet its profundity. I’ve recommended it to many people, but the Coen Brothers can be an acquired taste.
Need a movie thats totally all Buster Scruggs.
The film loves language. If you've read civil war letters, great grandparent's letters, even advertisements from this western period, it is rich in form and regard. I'd love to ask the Coen's what written material they were fond of, and thought about when writing the script for this. Harry's segment was all over this. So is the last one. Remarkably poised character dialogue.
near algodones has it too a little (the one with james franco)
"Lonesome Dove" by Larry McMurtry comes to mind as a period piece with language to match the Western ethos. Mark Twain also used the 19th century prose and cadence. Paulette Wells is another current author who also uses period argot in her books.
Well one of the story, and we are talking about "All good canyon" here. Now that is an old western tale/legend. So that story was open store. The others however were written over a period of 25 years. This film is epic because everyone in the film is a minor character when taken as a collective. And as we already know the Coens are masters of minor characters and know how to make them intricately interesting.
harry’s story as well as alice’s were so heartbreaking
Fantastic film, and an absolutely flawlessly acted out.
We just need a whole movie about Buster Scruggs and his adventures (misadventures?).
the caravan story was my favorite out of the collection
I liked the Tucumcari reference on the bank - reference back to 'For a few dollars more'
Outstanding interview! Real, honest and so totally great hearing from those that acted in the film. Unlike some "network interviews" the host is not pandering to the actors. He is really asking those questions that I would ask if I were in a comfortable surrounding with these actors. Loved this.
It's a great great movie.. and the part with Liam Neeson and harry Melling was incredible.. Usually, i am not very fond of movies with different self-contained stories, but THAT was incredible. And the direction and the scenography was OUT OF EARTH. A great idea.
i utterly loved it... it's so genius
Do you agree that the best interview questions are open ended, yes or no?
yes
Alice and mr Knapp actors have such a nice chemistry offscreen
I thought the actor who was the kid in the meal ticket was actually just a torso, I thought man what a find, but now I'm glad I was wrong
lol Tim Blake Nelson looks to be a tad bit hungover and stoned in this. That guy's got a great, off-center quality, I can see why the Coens wanted to work with him again. And holy shit, Zoe.... **swoon**
Also really loved what Bill Heck said about storytelling being a fundamental and necessary cornerstone of human civilization.
I MET A TRAVELER! IN AN ANTIQUE LAND!
Please make a full length Buster Scruggs movie !! Please..
I THOUGHT YOU WAS A TOAD
Correction a Horny Toad!
DO. NOT. SEEK. THE. TREASURE.
Never forget
"I'm not sure that's Pete."
"Of course it's Pete. Look at him! "
I cried when old yeller I mean Alice died
you must be good at not spoiling things
I simply adore Bill Heck. 💜
i think he adores Zoe!
He might (he certainly seems fond of her as a friend and performer)... but let's hope Zoe adores her husband, Paul Dano. 😉
Harry Melling was only 12 or 13 when Tim Blake Nelson was ask to play Buster Scruggs 16 years ago WOW who knew. Great job love the movies, this is one time the best is first and not the last part on the movie, I always look for how the movie and special effect are made and I find nothing on this. How was Harry Melling was carried up the stairs tied on a chair on the actors back
Love what I've seen, waiting for the DVD to release.
Tim Blake Nelson looks like he has been on 3 week fuckin bender :):).. But i surely love the guy, what an actor and character.
lol he's always looked like he's been on a 3 week bender.
I surely joe
Gopher, Everett?
I was so sad when Alice died :(
I expected leamn Neeson to be quotating the famoue line," I have a particular set of skills learned over a long career thats make me a pain in the ass to people like you". I think I quoated it properly.
Amazing movie..who was not recognized as it should been...really great. .i suggest to anyone to watch...it
Buster was hilarious!
Do you think this interviewer could ask better questions?
Why didn't they interview Mr Franklin Pierce?
Tim Blake Nelson owns his sexy
this movie is nuts
Strange to hear Tim Blake Nelson's real voice for the first time. Like the first time I heard Gary Oldman speak. You aren't expecting it.
What a great film!
'Hey you guys' is originally from the show 'The Electric Company'
He's got arms and legs !!
Great movie. Nelson was the best, deserves an Oscar.
Is that Harry Potters cousin?
Yes, it is
@@itsalejandroe Thank you!👍
The way he's presented in the film, with those lights on him, you know the Coen's are thinking on many levels when they made his episode..
@@sclogse1 They are amazing. The little sublties they use, the tire tracks in snowy parking lot in Fargo is my favorite. I would love to see them and the Farley brothers collaborate on a film.
Major spoiler:
When Zoe Kazan's character is seen dead tears just burst. Fuck that hurts in my manly throat. I've seen it twice and that part just sucks so much. Damn it, it's not right!
Wait are they a couple in real life? I’m getting major vibes
O Bruvva Where Ar' Vou
Paul Little read this comment five seconds before he said it. Lol.
Fifteen year wait! Akajsjs he probably totally forgot all about it. Cheerio
First time?
Terrible and boring questions. Surprising
Verdiğiniz çabayı çok takdir ediyorum
Dudley ...malfoy looking for you!
Enjoyed the interview, though the amount of 'yes or no' questions is a little unnerving. Might help if you tweak the wording a bit for those--less 'so was it like this?' and more 'can you talk about what this must have been like?' Sorry, I know this is just lame armchair internet feedback. Only mentioning it because I liked the interviewer.
Questions are way to elaborated...
yes
The dude abides.
I was so mad. Finally a love story.... AND THEN
you and me both..it was so sweet and endearing, and then the ending ruined it all
Most of this video is the guy "asking" questions. Stop pontificating so much we want to hear them talk not you
I thought they really hired a guy with no arms or legs. Kinda disappointed... not gonna lie. I absolutely loved the movie. Just saying...
OneHourShower I was trying to figure out if he really was an amputee when I was watching and was more shocked when I found out he had all his limbs and was the actor who played Dudley! He was so good I didn’t recognize him.
dissappointed they didnt actually do a casting call for limbless actors of that range? i wonder how that would've turned out..
Fuk off, and yes, also loved the movie
Alice is so nice.
Tim Blake NELSON, not Tim Blake ffs.
Has an animal ever recognized you on set? That about some up the questions
Don't do a whole movie. Do short stories.
Kya be yourself
Lotta jews up in this ma
Interviewer asked truly terrible questions.
fake, he doesn't have hands... or legs.
WTF Bill Heck looks and even sounds like Troy Baker.I was confused when I saw the movie.
This interviewer is not very good. Lmao
Yes.
Yes.
