That singing of the anthem made me cry and I didn’t understand a word. Lovely to see a people who so love their land and country. Those lambs look so tiny. What’s the age they generally sheer for a competition like this?
What a crowd!! Loved it! Really liked the back ground music you added. You all are living life the way it used to be enjoyed! Brings tears to my eyes. No one on an Iphone.. enjoying the moment and each other. And those food concessions were selling REAL healthy food. Thanks for sharing.. USA.
This was a brilliantly produced video and the shearing was a sight for sore eyes for this Welshman in Japan. When I was young, it was my job to collect the fleece, fold it and put it in the woolsack. I am also very happy to read comments that enjoyed the rendition of 'Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau', the Welsh National Anthem. Very heartwarming indeed.
As others have said I don’t understand Welsh language either but the passion and feeling they sing with gives me goosebumps, this was amazing just like when they sing at the rugby! Thanks Cammy it was almost like being there, almost 😅
Loud is correct! Were the music backgrounds actually playing the whole time? I loved the Haka from the New Zeland team... Those guys look SO different in their regalia receiving the awards than in their shearing garb. What an amazing and seriously taken competition. I would enjoy more of it! Thanks for the behind the scenes, gives an added dimension to the scale of it all.
That was some incredibly fast-paced shearing 😱 I thought maybe you sped up the footage, but no. I was exhausted just watching! Love to see all the fan support. 👍🏼
So cool! What a buzz is right. The energy of that crowd is contagious. I could feel it clear over here in Oregon. Thanks for taking us along. And don't worry, one day you will learn that the small ones are lambs hehe. Great video as always. Love to you, Lizzy and the boys, and your awesome mum.
Bonsieur Monsieur and welcome back Mr Cammy .. absolutely another spectacular beautiful shooting filming footage compilation countryside documentary updated resume and you nailed it again, gorgeous updated contact video .. appreciate your efforts and hard work for sharing such an amazing job .. Merci beaucoup Monsieur
Thank you Cammy. Always fun to watch you shearing. Very nice to hear them all sing. Is it their national anthem? Interesting ceremony love watching other counties ways.❤️👍
Wow Cammy, you sure kicked your cinematographic skills up a few notches! Fabulously entertaining and mesmerizing video. Thank you for creating this for your viewers- this video is a treat from start to finish.
This is great, look at that crowd. Had to laugh at the commentary 'flat out like a badger on the motorway' haha these shearers are amazing. As a shearers daughter I never tire of watching shearing. The HAKA gives me chills ❤
Wow! What a fast paced video-even with slo-mo! Great job Cammy! I can’t imagine what’s going thru the sheep’s mind as they are losing their wool and hearing all the yelling/cheering. Sensory overload I’m sure! How old are these sheep? (Apologies if you said & I missed it!❤️) As always, thanks for sharing your life with this non-farmer from South Carolina!❤😂
Would you think about doing children’s sheep game ties? We struggle for ties for the kids to show sheep. They have children’s beltex ties, but junior sheep game ties would be brilliant ❣️
This video went by so fast, Cammy! I was so disappointed when it was over. Just wanted more, you know? I guess that means I’ll be saving my Pennie’s to attend in person.
Hi Cammy, I love watching the shearing. I sit here and yell for the guys. It's exciting to see. Thanks for sharing this with us. Take care and stay safe till next time. ❤❤❤❤
These competition sheep don't have time to chill, they barely have time to take a few breaths and to understand what's happening. It must be like - whoosh - several gentle stretches while being turned around sitting on your bum - and you suddenly feel the breeze on your skin.
Excellent narrating, Cammy, and beautifully edited. You did the show some justice. You made me both feel like I was there and also want to go there - all at the same time. Kudos!
Thanks for the behind the scenes explanation of how the shearing contest is run! I am a fan of Welsh culture too, so enjoyed the anthem! Cymru am byth! Always love the EnZeds too!
Wow, that was some show, love the music choice as well! Funny at the end, I was thinking the same thing! They were tiny sheep! I think that show would be so much fun to attend even if you don’t have sheep, the crowd was amazing! Thanks for taking us along, excellent coverage Cammy!💕🇨🇦
Waited to watch this until I'd gotten around to editing my photos from it myself. Had a fun time playing "spot yourself" and "name that shearer". If you do get the chance to go along folks do, I'm only a quarter Welsh, and see when we sung that anthem I was ready to die for Wales. As Cammy said, it's even more intense than any sporting event. And the haka, that was proper hair standing up on the back of your neck, stuff, I've never seen one live, let alone from about 5 metres away. It was *amazing* It was incredible to experience.
Does a shearer have to be Welch or live in Wales to compete in the Open competitions? I assume there are Jr and intermediate competition s too. Those would be wonderful see sometime. But I realize you can't be everywhere . I really enjoyed this video.🎉
A boy Cammy another good video 👍. Some great shearing but what about the atmosphere 😲. Unreal stuff. Tell your camera man at the end the sheep aren't that small they're just far away 😂😂
FANTASTIC coverage! Very exciting competition! They are really fast. The ladies did a great job at keeping the work place clean!! Your coverage was clear and concise!! What was the winners best time? 08/25/23
Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau - or ‘Land Of My Fathers’ in English. If you don't know Welsh, look up the translation in English. Truly one of the most beautiful national anthems.
Loved it all, but the singing of the anthem was the absolute best!!!
That singing of the anthem made me cry and I didn’t understand a word. Lovely to see a people who so love their land and country.
Those lambs look so tiny. What’s the age they generally sheer for a competition like this?
You could feel the excitement in the crowd ! Great video Cammy
Thank you for showing and explaining what goes on in the background. That made it much more interesting for me
WOW! What a show. The crowd was so supportive and excited. Doesn't get much better. Thanks Cammy for the video.
Great video, love the buzz in the shed with the crowd cheering and the anthem was brilliant
I loved seeing what was going behind the scenes. Thank you!!
It's true what they say about Welsh singing! Glorious!
USA.

I’m in Canada and haven’t ever seen that,,people do love a good completion. Thanks for bringing us along. Love your work with sheep.

Thank you Cammy. Always fun to watch you shearing. Very nice to hear them all sing. Is it their national anthem? Interesting ceremony love watching other counties ways.❤️👍
Yeah. Best anthem in the world and I don’t even know any of the words😅
Wow Cammy, you sure kicked your cinematographic skills up a few notches! Fabulously entertaining and mesmerizing video. Thank you for creating this for your viewers- this video is a treat from start to finish.
Your cameraman and your editor are the bomb!!!
That was Als Couzens the artist. He’s unreal!
@@TheSheepGame I love his atrtwork!
I cheered more for our boys for this than any rugby game
Love The Sheep Game!
This is great, look at that crowd. Had to laugh at the commentary 'flat out like a badger on the motorway' haha these shearers are amazing. As a shearers daughter I never tire of watching shearing. The HAKA gives me chills ❤

Awesome insight to the shearing at Welsh show Cammy, Thanks for sharing and thanks for showing Hen Wlad fy Nhadau, tears and Hiraeth ......
Would you think about doing children’s sheep game ties? We struggle for ties for the kids to show sheep. They have children’s beltex ties, but junior sheep game ties would be brilliant ❣️
I’ll add it to the list 😁
This video went by so fast, Cammy! I was so disappointed when it was over. Just wanted more, you know? I guess that means I’ll be saving my Pennie’s to attend in person.
See u there 😁
The NZed'ers doing the Haka was quite interesting!
The crowd was louder than at a horse race!
Hi Cammy, I love watching the shearing. I sit here and yell for the guys. It's exciting to see. Thanks for sharing this with us.

❤❤❤❤
Wow that was brilliant to watch. Well explained Cammy really interesting.

They look like they don’t know what hit them.

Awesome thank you so much Cammy. 🙏💜
What a competition, great audience, great anthem, great Haka. Pretty good shearing too.
I really love watching this show, thank you for sharing ☺️ watching from Asia 🙋
Brilliant video Patrick in Ireland 🇮🇪

Great video Cammy. The Haka always makes me cry for some reason
The Welsh are so passionate about their country and kinsmen. So exciting to see them cheering on the shearers.
Waited to watch this until I'd gotten around to editing my photos from it myself. Had a fun time playing "spot yourself" and "name that shearer".

Wow what a crowd. Great competition. Wonderful video. Thanks Cammy
how exciting!
That was a great video. Very well edited with music. Some atmosphere there!!
Tremendous singing.
WOW the New Zealand Mauri were amazing!
Great footage Cammy, especially the slow motion. You could really see the accuracy Off the strokes.
"Flat out like a badger on the bypass!" What a line from the commentator. 😂
Great video Cammy them lads are fast unreal 💪👌
The Welsh love to sing❤❤
Does a shearer have to be Welch or live in Wales to compete in the Open competitions? I assume there are Jr and intermediate competition s too. Those would be wonderful see sometime. But I realize you can't be everywhere . I really enjoyed this video.🎉
No. Anyone can enter. Jack fagan was in the final. He’s from NZ 👍
The Welsh National Anthem sounds fairly easy to sing - as opposed to the US one. It's bear to sing.
A boy Cammy another good video 👍.
Some great shearing but what about the atmosphere 😲. Unreal stuff.
Tell your camera man at the end the sheep aren't that small they're just far away 😂😂
Wow!
Was that max Boyce the legend singing at the beginning
Great videoso interesting!
Brilliant!
So who won? Great vid and Cammie your English so clear 🤣
The Welsh 😁
@@TheSheepGame Congrats from a Kiwi. 🇳🇿
Took me a minute to figure it out. 🤔 Red jackets, big red dragon in the flag - must be Welsh 🙄
Electric atmosphere!
The NZ team did a haka! How awesome!
Cool vlog
FANTASTIC coverage! Very exciting competition! They are really fast. The ladies did a great job at keeping the work place clean!!
Your coverage was clear and concise!!
What was the winners best time?
08/25/23
I can’t remember exact time but would be around 12 mins for 20 i think😅
Only ever seen the Haka for rugby. Not quite as intimidating 🤣 in sheep shearing
So the Welsh guy won?
Aww those poor babies are twisted every which way to be sheared.
Would you rather the sheep suffer by being unshorn?
Epic! 👍
Is it possible to still win if you have nicks and cuts? (I'm commenting a lot for the algorithm) 😄
It is possible but very unlikely.
No countrymen can sing like the Welsh!
Are you now the biggest RUclips Sheep channel? If not, where do you rank and who is the biggest?
Saw this on Insta that Scots can't say "purple burglar alarm" I'm Welsh 😊
It’s very difficult. I think that’s why we don’t have burglary in Scots law. We call it House Breaking 😅
Anyone can be beaten with the right competition
At the beginning, are they signing the Welsh "national" anthem? What is the song called?
Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau - or ‘Land Of My Fathers’ in English. If you don't know Welsh, look up the translation in English. Truly one of the most beautiful national anthems.
Do they ever try to bite you, or is putting them on their backs make them meek?
CHEVIOTS!
I saw you on ewetube the other day. Nice cammy-o
