Coming to coins discussed, have got Gandhi silver coin bought by my son from his pocket money in 1997. Today he is SVP with Citi Bank at Dubai. ( allow them to play with coins, they become big bankers!) Have got both Nehru coins as part of my routine collection. But now I know how unique are they.

Awesome video but a small a query.is it possible for a coin to gain weight after so many years of wear and tear.original weight is 22.5gm while ur coin wt showed 2.55gm.infact it should have lost weight after wear and tear.no intention of downgrading your video.thanks

Let me clarify. There can be slight +- variation from standard weight due to many reasons due to machine +- variation, impurities or foreign particles on the coin at the time of weighing and by default coin can be slightly heavier when minted. So the point of mentioning slight +- variation in weight due to wear and tear implies to both coin and machine. There are so many coins that are heavier than their standard weight.

Yeeeeaaa...... I have both the coins of 1972. Rs 10 coin I got from my Mother and it's MOST precious to me ( as she is no more) and I also have the 50 Paise coin. ( both from Kolkata mint)
But I don't have the Gandhi head n food for all Rs 10 coins. ....sad , will get some day .
I have the 50 Paise coin of Nehru only the Hindi one but not the English one.

I like your presentation and analytic skill when it comes to coin. However, the coins shown as example are often dull, used and worn out. Extremely rare coin is difficult to get in high grade, agree. But for common Republic India coins, BUNC/UNC in higher grade could complement the presentation. This is also beneficial for newcomer hobbyist to enhance their expectation of quality.

Dear i have seen few vedios of your's the price you mention are just not given by coin dealers they pay about 60% only a big problem in coin collection society.

See that is the price when you buy from a dealer. But if you have to sell, until you become a dealer yourself it is hard to get that much price because in that case buyer always has upper hand whether he want to buy or not.
That is not just a problem in coin collection society, this rule applies everywhere. Suppose you buy gold from gold shop, but when go to sell your gold back they will not buy at the price they sold but they will always deduct some charges. So it spplies everywhere.

Let me take a chance by asking our government mint special coins, proof coins, unc cions for this society are they so special or above Indians is what I am not getting.
See Proof Coins and Unc coins are great for collection as they remain untouched and have better resale value . About other regular coins, few of them are rare and scarce coins for which you need to study and do some homework and then buy.
