I'm thinking that it's high time that rich people are charged in the $billions for healthcare so they are forced to go on these insurance companies' healthcare plans. Every doctor, nurse, clinic, and hospital in America should require everyone's taxes from the previous year, and then have a tiered charging system based on peoples' incomes. Any excess funds collected by them can go to things like homeless shelters, soup kitchens, down payments and other move-in costs for housing and transportation (including RVs and tiny homes), and towards poor peoples' college educations, job placement services, etc. They can then use that donated money as a tax write off. They should love it!
I appreciate your presentation, and I am so very angry over the state of health "care" in this country, which isn't care at all. Also the insurance companies want to be known as health care "providers." More like health care GATEKEEPERS, and their goal is to keep us AWAY from access to health care. New subscriber.

Hawaii has blue cross and Kaiser only in regards to private health care. There has to be some fishy going on there. And one HMSA ( aka blue cross) plan I had with my job covers things another HMSA plan wont cover from my husband's job even though we both have jobs with great companies. Also his company is nation wide and ONLY Hawaii has no choice for health care plans including the flexible health spending plan. Hawaii employees have no choice besides HMSA and Kaiser period. That can't be legal.
