Hope they continue to work hard fixing all these bugs, I don’t like sudden pause and advance to pit when the caution comes out. Car also seems to be outside the box when the crew services it. A lot of little things they need to iron out.
I can’t believe anyone would cut them slack. They had ample time and could have taken more time to make a great game. Some of the worst nascar games before this had way more options of gameplay and other great stuff. As far as I’m concerned it overall worse than Nascar Heat

So I'm wondering why they will let you drive in the garage area if they just throw you on the track. It's probably wishful thinking but maybe just maybe after release we'll get to drive from the garage to the track.
A few things that I think need to be there: I don't like how a caution comes out and it just instantly pauses and asks you to pit. I think there should be options. Either you do like a Nascar thunder style where you watch the car for part of it and the pitstop and that's it. Or like an F1 style safety car where you still drive the car but are limited in speed behind the pace car/cars ahead and actually drive the car to pit road where the AI brings the car to your pitbox. That just breaks the immersion so bad and I think F1 does it so well. Anther thing and I see a lot of racing games do this but: THE GREEN FLAG COMES OUT BEFORE THE FINISH LINE. I mean it looks like everyone gets going beforehand but you can't even control the car until you get to the finish line. I don't like it. You should be able to try to time your restarts, that's a huge part of NASCAR. This is just a couple things I noticed besides the stuff Radman already pointed out. Steering assist always being on is laughable. You can't sell a racing game like that. Spotter is insane. And yellow flags being as random as they are is also very strange. Also I know @Realradman said it was a good thing they modelled the garage, but it's such a what if. Like you can only go there by driving backwards like it's an Easter egg or something. When you leave the garage you should be able to watch the car come out of the garage and then out of the pits and be able to make an outlap or have an option to skip the outlap and start at the current place. It's these kinds of immersion things that I think make games like this great. This goes for the pace laps too. One minute the window get is up the next your taking the green flag. Just copy the NASCAR thunder games and show the field rolling off and then show everyone making pace laps with the lineup. I get that this is a brand new game from the ground up but these are kinda fundamental. Without it, the game feels pretty empty and much less immersive. At least the physics seem pretty good and the AI have promise. Also game looks great
You using a Rick Ware car to qualify in the top 15 is probably the best thing to happen to Rick Ware Racing today. Aside from Cody being an active nuisance on the track, Carson just got arrested for assault and suspended from NASCAR.
You can drive to garages cause they originally were going to let you drive in and out manually. So it's remnants of just ANOTHER deleted/missing feature.
There are tons of signs that the game is unfinished. You can drive i to the garage when you aren't supposed to. You get a prompt to stay behind cars on restarts as if you have manual control. You can kind of make custom setups in the pits, as if custom setups were supposed to be in the game. The UI in multiplayer is more complicated than necessary unless custom lobbies was meant to be a multipayer game mode. In the announcement trailer, pit crew faces were halfway finished. There are no stages. For whatever reason, the game is unfinished.
that caution/do you wanna pit menu is such bullshit! I want a feature like in Nascar 15, where you drive to the pit stops and can't decide in the last second and you will see how far the pits are away
It might not change anything but try and see if using a longer race length turns on stages. I could be wrong but kind of remember Heat 5 not allowing stages for the shorter races.
I really think the caution sequence needs to be overhauled, it shouldn't just essentially pause the gameplay and leave the engine sounds running. Let us pace under caution for 1 minute or so until we make our pit adjustments and give the player the option to watch the cars go down pit road
@@ATK10155 I assume that would be difficult to tune as not all players have the same skill, but yeah if you go RWR you should be battling at the back. The difficulty setting would just help to tune the game to your level. It works like this in the f1 game and it’s pretty good imo.
this is what i wanted to see. i wanted to wait until i saw career gameplay to decide whether or not to get this game and it looks like i'm not getting it. i was hoping for a more nascar thunder or nascar 05-09 style career mode but it looks like it's more like the nascar heat series career mode.
Please say u can have manual yellow flags driving and manual pitting under yellows, how is that in any way real if u just get a option then jump to the pits.

You using a Rick Ware car to qualify in the top 15 is probably the best thing to happen to Rick Ware Racing today. Aside from Cody being an active nuisance on the track, Carson just got arrested for assault and suspended from NASCAR.
This game has bucketloads of potential if the bugs are ironed out
Man been watching live streams all evening waiting for this video lol.
You can drive to garages cause they originally were going to let you drive in and out manually. So it's remnants of just ANOTHER deleted/missing feature.
My Thrustmaster doesn't seem to work on my Xbox One anymore. What's an upgrade better wheel and pedal?
Crazy that all drivers have strong relationships with their teams
Its as entertaining as informative to watch you playing. Looking fprward to more Ignition Videos!
There are tons of signs that the game is unfinished. You can drive i
to the garage when you aren't supposed to. For whatever reason, the game is unfinished.
soo much potential, I wanna get a refund but at the same time I dont, I feel like its going to get better
It most likely will, coding is hard though
okay much improvement than the last video at least they are making updates
Are you able to take off the cc for the spotter?
that caution/do you wanna pit menu is such bullshit! I want a feature like in Nascar 15, where you drive to the pit stops and can't decide in the last second and you will see how far the pits are away
So from the looks of it, we don't get to see our created character nor do we get a replay feature? Am I seeing that correct sir?
This is easily still the best gameplay of NASCAR 21 so far
This is easily the best gameplay of NASCAR 21 so far
Hearing the spotter changing into an bid caller was amazing haha
Fr 😂
It might not change anything but try and see if using a longer race length turns on stages. I could be wrong but kind of remember Heat 5 not allowing stages for the shorter races.
I really think the caution sequence needs to be overhauled, it shouldn't just essentially pause the gameplay and leave the engine sounds running. Let us pace under caution for 1 minute or so until we make our pit adjustments and give the player the option to watch the cars go down pit road
Can you use different schemes in career? Or is it only the main scheme?
I actually enjoyed building yourself up to the cup cars. I won't be buying until they actually have a decent career mode.
Yeah it’s strange that there is no difficulty settings
Honestly I think the difficulty setting is honestly what equipment you choose to sign with. Top 10 hendrick or RickWare type equipment
@@ATK10155 I assume that would be difficult to tune as not all players have the same skill, but yeah if you go RWR you should be battling at the back. The difficulty setting would just help to tune the game to your level. It works like this in the f1 game and it’s pretty good imo.
The game doesn't come out until October 26th.
I got the same exact qualifying order as you in my career mode.. that’s a problem
The Twitter page for nascar 21 just posted that they are listening to the fans and customers for this game about the bugs and will be fixing them
this is what i wanted to see. i wanted to wait until i saw career gameplay to decide whether or not to get this game and it looks like i'm not getting it. i was hoping for a more nascar thunder or nascar 05-09 style career mode but it looks like it's more like the nascar heat series career mode.
I'm pretty sure the starting line up is based off of the actual Daytona 500 starting line up from 2021
Please say u can have manual yellow flags driving and manual pitting under yellows, how is that in any way real if u just get a option then jump to the pits.
Is the game running better than the past 2 days or no
I’m wondering tho . Is there any strategy in this campaign or is it just racing? Like does money do anything for you? Or does your contacts matter?
21 ignition is the modern day nascar 2011 the game
I said this once, I said it again, I'm saying it now, this is still the best gameplay of NASCAR 21 we have so far
i can confirm i like the stats a lot in this game ♥
