Im working on something for an at home escape room. Can you provide more info for where i can find or make that same type of motor please? It looks awesome though. Its the best thing I've seen for what i need. Hope you can help. New subscriber
The motor is a "AC geared motor" available in different speeds from Mcmaster.com. They have gotten pricey lately and one could probably be sourced on amazon for cheaper. Thanks for the sub, and your project sounds fun.
Love the video and right in time for new years!
Thanks, glad you like it.
Oooh 😮 a ball 🥎 drop I like that!
Good job
Thank you. Cheers

@chrismakesstuff1 thank you for the prompt reply. I will check it out.
@@chrismakesstuff1 did you then just attach the pulley to the motor?
@@maryschuler9512 correct. just a set screw on the shaft to hold it in place.
How did you sting it up at the top? You mentioned the smooth bolts at the top and bottom but I can't picture how it's hanging.
It just goes over the top of the bolt, kind of like a pulley.
How did you connect the pulley to the ball to get the ball to move? @chrismakesstuff
The string has a slip knot around the pulley, then the string is wrapped around the pulley
