- This is a video of a German Shepherd jumping in on some dolphins while we were underway in our boat. I guess he wanted to play with the dolphins lol

When he jumped off the boat and then wanted back on immediately, It appeared that he hadn’t though this through completely. The water was more wet than he’d expected. Too funny!! Hahaha 😂

German Shepherds are something special. I had two of them, died old, I am going to gave the third one. They are really incredible: they taught me things about dogs that I had never dreamed of before having them at home. If you have never lived with a similar dog, you don’t know what dogs can do.

Maverick needs a life vest in case there’s an accident! They have them with handles on top so you can pull him out of the water easier. He looked so disappointed that his pod buddies had left him lol. Great family 💚

@@chocho8036 It's still little risky I believe. I mean, they are stories of dolphins drowning people. So ok, swim with dolphins if it's important to you. But I think it's safer to keep a good distance to them. You could call it being respectful to wild animals.

My bulldog did that once when he was young. He swam right to the bottom. Fortunately as soon as I heard the splash I fell over the side of the boat and swam after him saving him. He now owns a nice $80 life jacket. I lost my glasses in my phone and soaked my wallet but it was worth saving that sweet doggie.

He literally was swimming to the bottom when I drove into retrieve him. The water was dark and I could spot his thick white legs still trying to swim. It was like he was swimming to the bottom. Scary but funny. Anyway he's alive and well it makes me smile everyday. 😃

When I lived at the beach my GSD swam out to the dolphins. I was so afraid he'd get caught in the current and get washed out to sea--but fortunately he finally obeyed me and came back to shore. He loved the dolphins.
