Beautiful place ❤ thanks for sharing. Back to your mind conditioning.. your suspicion and alertness is not all bad. Great that you are able to give this woman her salt and pepper and send her on her way.. but please accept that as a protective mechanism. Cudos to you for protecting your family’s privacy. Big up to you👍🏽
@@marymills4943 Thank you so much for that. I can't help but compare my behavior to when I lived in Cuba. That would have never crossed my mind, plus, to be honest, Colombia was VERY safe for us. This is why travel is so important. Thank you so much for your support. It means a lot. Mucho Love
@@Florkubana that is my next question.. I am also conditioned to believe that Columbia is unsafe and that it is a “war zone”. Thank you for sharing your journey.. now I want to go and will put that on my bucket list👍🏽
@@marymills4943 I spent time in Santa Marta,Bogota, and many other places, and not once did I feel unsafe. All I heard was stories but nonindications of violence and crime. Colombians are very humble, hardworking people. There is violence in some areas, but it is all GOV vs Tribes.
Thanks for sharing I’m going to Columbia in December for the first time. I’m conditioned from being born & growed in amerikka so would have reacted the same way..is she casing the house? And it is sad
Always protect the family. I too visited Panama in 2021 and Cartagena Colombia this summer,I found the people to be lovely. When I visited the Gambia, the people was very nice and I did.become a bit suspicious of them as well. The West really do a number on our psyche
I live in Florida and I have the natural gas line. It operates my heater, dryer, and stove. As far as cooking, the food tastes better when you cook on a gas stove. A natural gas line is more common in the Northern states. About a year ago a whole neighborhood exploded because the gas line malfunctioned so it can be very dangerous.
I honestly think it's your curiosity is what keeps you and your family safe unfortunately we are living in a day and age where you can't be too trusting it unfortunate but that's the reality.
This looks so beautiful i wish i could travel long term like this but i don’t speak Spanish only English . I think it’s actually limiting to only know one language. You are blessed flor☺️ do you teach your children Spanish as well?
My sixth sense is always on alert. The second you let your guard down, yuh get kuff. You have to treat most ppl like they're suspects [cuz u just neva know]. I prefer the natural beauty of places [caa badda wid the man made stuff]. There is nothing wrong with protecting your family. Ppl 2 damn fass, and some are disrespectful and nuff. And, it's sad to say, but many Jamaicans can be extremely mean. Flor, you share what you want us to know/see. I saw ur boys on a different channel that you own😜. Let them be kids. They grow so fast. My house uses natural gas to heat the water heater, the furnace and to operate the gas stove. Walk good, and be safe!
That is awesome! I honestly just started this channel like a month ago. I just post what I film and share information that I found useful. All the best my friend
We live in a world where ee are taught to trust no one. If my gut tell me something or my instincts are heightened, something is up.. its always best to err on the side of caution.,
Jamaican people, the culture, on a whole, is very suspicious. I think it keeps us safe. We're always second-guessing things. If somebody say, "Jump". We have to know why.
Always second guess and stay alert the world build u that way for a reason I know it’s sad but the world is a scary place this coming from someone who always see the brighter side to things but it also aware of what it could or can be 🤍🤍🤍🌱🙏🏾
Always go with your gut feeling. 🇯🇲🇺🇸
Is not the first time I feel embarrassed of my over cautiousness while traveling. Is sad but I am sure it has also saved me from misfortune
Trust your instincts always! You will never be wrong. The boys love nature and the outdoors just like you

You can do it! Leaving there will force you to learn Spanish. Yes we are all bilingual
Beautiful, Columbia reminds me of JA.
It is breathtaking many areas are similar but those coffee farms are huge compared to ours

Pray always for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Ask God to give you the presence of good and evil that exists around you and your family. 🇨🇦
Keep your guard up, always. Its not your fault there are so many bad people out there.
