ICC Kingston 2024 08 04 Mouth after high tide from Tugnet

Mouth of the River Spey from Tugnet. Just after high tide and on a very low water level in the river. SEPA river gauge at Boat O' Brig recorded 0.12 metres. Small island on west side of mouth and slightly inland is all that protects the Fleedie and Kingston Burn area from waves on a strong northeasterly and Spring Tide. Gravel bar to east of mouth is very narrow and low and could easily be flattened on a Spring Tide with a northerly/northeasterly storm as happened in last 18 months.
