Wow amazing have had code 1485 on my mg4250 for one week with no hope, but with you advise the error code cleared instantly. Thank you, thank you, you're a star.
happened to me a while ago after I cleaned the black cartridge in hot water and refilled the ink. the issue was not on the side contacts/ribbon but on the bottom side(around the print head) brown ribbon. there was ink trapped on the ribbon. just dipped again in hot water then quickly tap on paper towels. problem solved.
Excellent information, it was very useful for me to solve a persistent error code 1485 for more than 2 weeks. Follow everything that they point out in the step-by-step tutorial. In the end I realized that although the error occurred with the 241XL color cartridge and it continued to occur despite having replaced it with an original canon cartridge. I decided also replace the black one, that is, the cartridge that was not giving an error on the printer screen and everything was solved. That is, the black cartridge was also damaged. I recommend this tutorial if you have a Canon printer, no matter the model, and whether it has 2 cartridges (black and color) that give some of these errors.
I close the window (by clicking Cancel Printing, or even Ending the Task or the Task Tree in Task Manager) and it won t go away..... The window closes and after a few seconds its back again
I think its because mine was and isn't genuine Canon ink - aka I didn't pay them $50 more than it cost them (a few cents). What worked was: going to device manager on my PC and uninstalled the printer/scanner, uninstalled all Canon programs on my computer, downloaded/installed the oldest possible driver (NOT the full driver & software package and definitely not the optional security patch; I'm quite sure those will auto update drivers so you cannot use aftermarket inks) for my printer on the Canon website, then did what was in this video (using my shirt).
Only solution to these cannon printers is to chuck them in the bin, they're nothing but hassle and more hassle, save yourself hours of frustration. Everything tried, no joy.
@@qw8468 My first Canon printer MG2500 worked fine when new for a while and wasn't a case of ran out of ink or a dodgy new cartridge it just wouldn't print properly with tests, alignment, clean roller etc even when info states working fine it wasn't working fine, I know about the print dialog boxes etc so I gave up and dumped it. There is a limit to how much time to waste messing about on a printer when urgent necessary printing needs doing. Perhaps a component failed internally not detected that cannot be fixed. So bought another this time second hand on ebay & that also was a waste of money, supposed to be unused in original box but was a lie, should of sent it back but I dumped that as well, would have resulted in more bad luck. Best solution: Bought a new Epson XP-4200 for around £55 plus a set of spare new inks, set it up & is the best printer I've owned, no problems never lets you down, Ok I don't expect it to last forever but next time you get any trouble with your Canon and need to buy another get a new Epson. You will get a top quality print perfectly aligned.
yes but what if its not a cleaning issue, after you clean both cartridges and the error still persists. What other problems could there be?
Based on my current issues, it might be that the printer is straight up broken
Thank you! It works perfectly for my Error 1401!!!! (Model : Canon Pixma E480)

1. Remove cartridge, wipe contacts, place cartridge back. Use printer;
2. Блять! 5 минут моей жизни украдены этим видео.
