The question is why are the farmers paid too little when the big businesses depend on them in making their billions of dollars business? it is a matter of ETHICS.
Dark chocolate makes me think about time. Speaking about time; here is an interesting fact: I did research and discovered that time is about 150 times faster than in the time of the prophet Muhammad. This means that the 5 prayers can be done in 150 days. And zakaah can be payed after 150 years. I will show the evidence. So in the Musnad of imam Ahmad (narration number 21618, and its chain (isnaad) is good, so it's trustworthy), it can be found that Zayd bin Thabit learned Hebrew in 15 days and it can be found in that narration that he reached proficiency. For one to reach proficiency, one needs to know at least 16000 words. And Zayd bin Thabit learned all the definitions of the words he learned. So I did research on Hebrew on many words and found that the average amount of definitions for a Hebrew word is 4 definitions. (Zayd bin Thabit was smart)
So they mean that us peasants should eat artificial while they eat real expensive chocolate. Farmers don't get much money because distribution is completely monopolized by corporations and bad governments
The brewed chocolate people should really market the fact that their lab-created chocolate doesn't contain any insect parts, unlike real chocolate. Gross but true!
Its not understandable, ... cocoa beans do not grow in Switzerland, so we dont understand when they mentioned " finest swiss chocolate" ...its like tea, when they name it " british tea" where does the tea grow in the UK....., " italian coffee" ...same..or, ..imagine you are consuming " german extra virgin olive oil..." I heard that Ghana is decreasing their export to Switzerland?😮
Or just get Equal Exchange chocolate from farmer-owned co-ops they use sustainable growing techniques, eg shade-grown and the farmers get paid more than even fair-trade does.
Both things. Do whatever to secure a future cocoa supply. A world without chocolate would be unbearable.. Besides, much of the demand comes from products that in any case could use the lab-grown variety, I mean milk chocolate and coverings for all kinds of bars and all that.
then depopulate and reduce industrial pollution. make more genetically enhanced cocoa farms to increase production. or you can just make some dough in lab that tastes like chocolate and sell that
Let us please not be too sceptic about these technologies. I'm, for example, very much looking forward to lab grown meat, because it will save a lot of animal suffering.
great logic there imitation foods are created in a lab people got some stupid irrational fears that you'll sprout a third eye after eating something lab grown when it's the only option you won't be saying that
Title and description are misleading. This was just a video promoting other methods. Also, she said "tissues".. what tissues? She needs to be specific. Anyways this is weird either way.
What happens to the struggling farmers who grow the cocoa? They rely on the rest of the world buying their produce.

Seems like the "brewed" chocolate would be a good source for cheap chocolate, like for candy bars or something.

Better brewed chocolate than no chocolate🤷🏻♂️
The future is indeed in the tank if we want to have a sustainable one that is.
Awesome video shoving interesting solution to our chocolate problems ;)
We are already eating some colored sugared plasticine that is selling in groceries. Overpopulation with overconsuming

I'll try anything once.

Is that the same machine used to grow meat?

I will not eat anything lab grown and i advice you not too
What is your reasoning for that belief?
@@rkline they see it as freaky mad scientist concoction, unnatural, artificial. Even if it's literally the same in the cellular level
Why not?
@@nonamedpleb meanwhile eating foods filled with chemicals
I've noticed the crazies come out to the comments section whenever there's talks of anything lab grown then starve
