In the financial world, risk management is the process of identification, analysis, and acceptance or mitigation of uncertainty in investment decisions. Essentially, risk management occurs when an investor or fund manager analyzes and attempts to quantify the potential for losses in an investment, and then takes the appropriate action given the fund's investment targets and risk tolerance.

This year could turn out worse. I lost a lot of money last year as a result of poor investing decisions that I would never have made if I hadn't been so concerned about my portfolio. I wasn't sure whether to keep investing or make mortgage payments. After selling my investments, I discovered that the house required more work than I expected. I'm not sure how long I can go on like this.

I've earned money in over 500 different markets in the previous 10 months since employing a planner to help me strengthen my portfolio at the end of 2023. If 2023 teaches us anything, it's that good fortune is temporary. Even in good times, we should put in more effort to prepare for the worst-case scenario.
How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I will be retiring in two years and I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances.

'What is Risk Management?' I will answer by a word. Culture. A culture in terms of a cultural characteristic of an organization where everyone is involved, is sensitive in risk management, to detect, to prevent and to address.
You are describing safety_safety is a component of risk but is not risk!

I said risk management is a cultural matter where the entire organization is risk awareness.
The term.risk means you taking a chance which involved in advantages and disadvantages it all breaks down to how far you will like to get involved in it
