As a amateur fighter of about a dozen Years in my youth, for me, it was easy to spot that the lionheart did way to little running in prep for this fight. I can't tell you how many times I found myself in the ring thinking, omg , why didn't I just put in more roadwork for this fight! When he , being the bigger guy kept getting himself pressed against the cage after going in for the clinch himself, and then seeing how hard he was breathing after a tough first round, I gave his opponent 10 to 1 odds of winning.
He took this fight on short notice to replace Khalil's original opponent.
Wow! Fantastic speed and power! Pleasure to watch. Thanks to both fighters!

Recently, CTE caused by head trauma in the mixed martial arts has become a topic. I have to say I don’t think there’s anyone in MMA including the fighters that doesn’t realize that every time they get in the ring they’re risking their health and or their life.
Smith doesn't seem to care if he gets hurt. Khalil clearly did though. He probably cares more about Smith's health, just as a human being, than Smith does about his own health.

Smith actually looked great for taking the fight on like a weeks notice. He fought better here than I've seen him fight with full camps. Really back and forth up until that awesome uppercut from Khalil.
I would keep up on low strokes and anticipate his stance because he was quick to counter. And yourself I would wrestle you first and then mix it up to red trunks. Respect to both fighters 🙏🏿

In order to grapple, you must get close enough to hold your opponent. He did got a hold of Hill a few times, but couldn't take him down. But most of the time, when approaching Rountree, he got lit.

It never made sense to me, why so many fighters circle INTO the power side of an advancing opponent. I'd MUCH rather eat a jab than a power cross, straight, or hook.

i started this video like 2 or 3 minutes in...the commentator kept saying "roundtree" and i was like "wtf u talking about dude its only round two. then i realized roundtree was the name of one of the fighters.
My god the last punch was nasty. The guy in red kept measuring the distance and under minding disadvantages of south paw and center line
