India is the largest producer of milk and products. No wonder paneer is so popular and cheap. Each state has its own diary and market milks and it's products though not at the level of Amul. Native breed cow milk is expensive and the farmers are encouraged to rear native sheep and cows chicken and also dogs . The governments do give assistance and subsidy to their farmers. In the coming years the modern technics and process for agriculture and faming with excellent seeds and proper soil enrichment are available and their output and natural fertilisers will rise exponentially and prices will reduce drastically.Good vlog.

Paneer is not cheap because price of milk is increasing repeatedly….in my city best quality paneer retail price is above ₹400 per kg (we have prices like below 300 too but tht paneer is mixed with synthetic paneer)….where as retail price of chicken in the same market is currently around ₹250 per kg…..because it is a poultry product which is usually processed using chemicals for faster growth of chicks and also the weight of cut chicken is increased by injecting water into it.
Obviously it is just one of the common methods used to increase the production and weight of dressed chicken…..still there are sources/shops where you can get good quality chicken processed through hygienic methods but they are sold at higher prices.
Paneer is so affordable in india in village or town area you can get fresh real paneer max 280 rupees per kilogram 😮.
