Man I'm happy this guy is finally getting the recognition he deserves. He's been insanely consistent for years now. 2019 was a dream for him on the global stage but the form he had in 2018 was unmatched.
Lovely tale of the “right way” to live a life as a family. Beautiful and inspiring. Congratulations to hun and his family and thank you for sharing. Sending them all my best moving forward!
Pieter Steph Du Toit, well done world rugby player of the year. What a major Achievent, you made all South Africans proud. Thank you. You are a role model for future rugby players. Your good Parents , up bringing, character and hard work has all contributed to your success. Well done. May GOD bless you and family.
I REMEMBER TELLING MY FRIENDS ABOUT HIM BEFORE THE WORLD, SAYING HES A TOP PLAYER, FUNNY THING I FORGOT HIS NAME AND ALL I COULD REMEMBER IS THAT HES PLAYING STYLE IS EXACTLY LIKE SCHALK BURGER AND THEY PLAY THE SAME POSITION....GOOGLE HELPED ME, NOW HES A WORLD CHAMPION, BEST RUGBY PLAYER AND THE REST IS HISTORY..
I have cadaver bone and cartlige in my shattered knee. I am grateful to the John or Jane Doe. Pieter-Steff can thank his dad. What a wonderful respectful family.
Not much to do with quotas anymore - European clubs are raiding our schools before even representative schools. Family moving and academy offering getting offered to 17 year olds. At next World Cup - even more South African trained schoolboys will be in playing - just not for SA
He's a very talented player. But his privileges and opportunities far outweigh that of others in the Malmesbury and Western Cape region. Around 21:30 they claim that their farm workers can also achieve this level of success. Perhaps. But not really. Owning the land Vs working it are totally different struggles.
I agree in a way, but disagree in general. You must be pretty good to either be Mapimpi or Am or even Kolisi..completely disadvantaged, but still make a success..if you're really good you will out perform even the most privileged! PTSD is a hard worker with a passion for the game! I have no doubt that a farm workers boy can be the next Kolbe or the next Am! If you think they cant, you lose the initiative! This is not America! This is South Africa!
Awesome rugby player…. But like Schalk Burger not into weights…. You can just dream how good these guys would be if they could really embrace what the gym offers

Proud Papa
His work rate is huge
Here aftet the elusive 28 tackles and winning 🥇 the 2023 World Cup.
Little did he know that he'd be man of the match in a World Cup final.
An inspiration
Sa is tough to beat with pieter in the lineup.
Jan Boland Coetzee was the only Bok to go to the same school as PS
This video shows why SARU should get rid of quotas

Bobby Bobby unfortunate, but true. After RWC victory, hopefully we’ll entice some good ones to stay.

So he's always been a flanker, interesting. 🤔
I didnt know that either, helps us realise why he was picked there and why he stuck to it as it is his preferred position
Awesome rugby player…. But like Schalk Burger not into weights…. You can just dream how good these guys would be if they could really embrace what the gym offers
