I've been playing Ultimate Team for 12 years and I'm thinking of quitting because of the recent changes. It just doesn't make sense that some women players can match up with superstars like Haaland, Mbappe, or Messi in terms of skills and speed. This really messes up the game for me and feels like a repeat of last season's weird promos with position changes. CONGRATS EA !!!

They have to feed into the lie that the women are just as capable. When in reality some of the top women's teams would lose against third league men's teams. They could've made it a separate mode but then you can't virtue signal to your player base.

I'm personally not a fan. In Volta it's fine but they're not gonna do 2 different FUT's with their servers. And idk, it's just unrealistic to mix them all together
Yeah if they do it then it just takes FUT in quite an unrealistic path which is not what I thought they were going for. This year we saw power shot and also a sort of power slide tackle which I thought was for the game to be more realistic and less of an arcade game but then they do this...

I have nothing against women's football. But this is just another step away from realism. Things will get even more crazy as EA continue to innovate in the coming years. Aliens vs humans someday maybe? This is a video game after all. It is interesting to see where will they finally draw the line. FUT may not retain its mass appeal if it continues this path towards a total fantasy world. Simulating the real world has been at the core of this game's success. I think they are risking losing this vital link

So it is now a reality, Fifa 24 has been released officially and i just played my first ultimate team game, male and female players on the same squad, super unrealistic.
Opened my 3000 FC points worth pack, and from 30 players 18 were women. It just sucks. My son was so disappointed, even my daughter because she didn't have any idea who the female players were. Just sad!

Personally I found FUT going downhill once they added shapeshifters and other ridiculous promos, it’s more “arcadey” however adding woman has really added the cherry on top. Woman and men do not play together. Lastly I do feel this is a bit forced and unnecessary.
