I'd like to hunt with you guys here in my home State of SD. I think the freedom would both intimidate, and invigorate you. Here, we take a basic hunter safety course at 12 years of age. That accredits you for life. We learn to hunt from our Grandfathers.. We've been hunting here on our homestead ranches for five generations. Every truck at the local bar has keys in the ignition and a varmint gun on the dash. Guns are just another tool,like fencing pliers, that we keep in the truck. Most ranch houses still have a wooden gun cabinet in the living area, as guns are to be seen by company, and talked about. My daily three mile hike in the mountains with my Spaniels always
includes some shooting of one of my vintage Model 70 or Savage 99 rifles. Great way to start the day before driving to town to deal with humans.
