The Czech Republic has very easy access to guns and low gun crime. So does Switzerland. Licensed gun owners having access to guns is never a significant driver of gun crime.

I should have made that more clear, so yes that is what the last 5 years of inflation have to do with, 4.5 years since the original and I am assuming around 6 months to get this all sorted. For owners, our buy back isn't even in it's infancy, we will likely not have it ready before the next election, we will have just been robbed of time OR money, we either stopped doing a hobby that we enjoyed because we could not afford to buy a new set of equipment, or we stored the banned stuff and bought new stuff to continue, that was the reference to theft.
