Thank you very much for watching and for all of your kind messages. For now I am planning on keeping this series to a weekly episode every Sunday. If you'd like to see it twice a week, please let me know.
I personally vote for whatever schedule you are comfortable with. I see you've just released a new Expert Tutorial and wouldn't want to see both projects overloading you.
2 a week would be great. But in the end do what is fun for you. Burnout is real. And burnout means less enjoyable episodes if we can tell you're not having fun. Or even worse. No episodes at all. What time do you stream this. I'll try to catch some.
Hej Maqsimous Thanks a ton for the awesome content you provide on Aska. The tutorials as well as the Live Series are a blast to watch and to learn from. One thing I just wanted to mention: The way you upgrade your woodcutter, stonecutter and gatherer pit into hut, is not needed. Not sure if they patched that or it was just a calculation error, but the upgrade needs less material than the new building. I think it is materials pit + materials upgrade = materials new hut. Most probably you caught that already, as I am just now watching from beginning :D Keep up the great work and may the gods be with you.
Didn't catch the stream but watched through the entire thing. Between your advice and methodology, Maqsimous and the chat's questions, not to mention my own very good seed with a mine right offshore (I do need to find a wolf den now that I'm more familiar with what I'm looking for), I think I'm ready for an extensive dive into the more intricate settlement mechanics. So, I say wholeheartedly: Thank you! The hardest thing I'm having issues with, automation wise, is villagers keep "slagging" my iron. It's a curve and learning process but I'm more than comfortable starting over with my seed.
Great video, awesome commentary. Thanks for sharing. I am obsessed with this game at the moment. There a lot of good tips in here for strategy and gameplay mechanics for anyone checking this out.
@3:20:11 5 metal ore and 15 coal is the mix I use all the time. Started with 4 to 16 but two-three coal pieces remained, so ratio went up. Settlers do 2 to 18 which is a waste of resources and takes a long time to amass significant number of iron ... and the problem is they do it with skill 0 and skill 75 - no learning process takes place there
1:55:11 does that actually work? does it make it so that you stay at 100% defended or does it make it so that the defenseless popup keeps popping up edit: when u edit their name u somehow manage to edit without having to delete the whole thing, how are you doing that?? i find myself retyping their name every time
Best seed I found so far is "god", lower case g, no quotes. Cave is just to NE from there, super-close to shore, and right next to wolf spawner. Has a HUGE flat area right by the cave.
Thank you for the straightforward tips and tutorials. I just bought the game last week and although I'm quite a ways in in terms of days, I had two people starve to death over winter and fending off the raids has been difficult. The earth walls are genius! Can they destroy those?
Thank you for these very educational videos!!! I learned a lot from them! But there's one thing I didn't understand: Why destroy the pits and then build huts instead of converting the pits directly into huts? Maybe you explained it and my English isn't good enough to understand it!? But anyway, I didn't understand the reason for your approach. greeting Ujot
Wanted to ask about the rerolling. Does the full roll happen as you choose one from the two or can you save quit right before they spawn to reroll the hidden ones?
Does that Relog technique work to reroll villagers? I tried it and it rerolls once, but then it keeps the second option no matter how many times i log out and log back in
Seems many have said one but yet there are comments on steam and few where they had 3, so I think it can vary between 1-3 depending on seed. Not sure with biug updates coming if it change, and as the only source of Iron you ideally want a seed with 3 it seems atm. But maybe some RNG in what you get

It's nice to see an expert play this game. I get a lot of ideas for myself, which helps a lot.
Missed it as a stream but it made a great VOD!
300hrs into ASKA... still learned a few things ;)
Cant wait for the next one!
Wasn’t able to catch the full stream, but thanks for starting a full playthrough 👍🏼 will def watch it completely

Finally its here. Been waiting. Missed the live stream but definitely watching.

Love your videos man, very informative

1:11:43 your voice is pleasant, i realized 30 min in but its not a big deal lol
Great video even without the game sounds Truly

Great content
The clickyness of the M&K are soothing lol had grabbed me a mechanical w red switches for the sounds lol.
Clicking keyboards makes for bad audio in videos.

Is it possible to copy seeds to get a good map. I've tried but never works out being the same map, or maybe spawn locations change
Hi from hull UK
There are many writing contests out there for someone who wants to get published

They changed the re-rell. Does not work anymore.
Please tell me how to use the multi pickup of items
How do you do a multi pickup?
Why aren’t you putting the extra beds in the villagers cottage?
P.S. before going to the trouble of all the other projects
I thought there is only one cave per map, no?
