What a guy! You are the man Jason! Quite the craftsman!! Always so proud of you 👍 I love watching you do anything And I love your wonderful family. Wish I could adopt you all, but it is still pretty great to feel like family, and we have many of our homesteader families that know each other. I love seeing you all at each other’s homes! God bless each of your family and keep you safe! Love, Norma (from Florida)
Wow! Another excellent job. And now you have another skill under your belt. I applaud your willingness to take on new projects and new skills. You are awesome. 👏👏👏👏👏👍😎
Good job Jason. This is a great looking burner platform. It will be great for your pig scalding but a second benefit would be a nice big heavy duty pot for deep frying a turkey, or for making a big pot of chili for a big picnic this fall. Have a Blessed day.
Another job well done! I admire how well you plan your projects and how clean your work areas are while you build anything. Looks so good it made me want one and I am a city dweller with no animals to process LOL! I have wanted to raise pigs ever since watching your builds of the pig ports and ya'lls journey with the brothers! Sow The Land is one of my top favorite channels that I dont want to miss watching. Sweet family that works hard. God bless!
LOVE THE DESIGN !! THIS thing could make a great large batch fryer for a get together. Love it. A little friendly criticism on your weld joint. It appears you need more heat on your weld joints. Which will fuse (melt) the welds better. Though, this thing could last forever. I am only mentioning this because of the use. Rust can collect in the pin holds and eventually rust out. Your welds do not look like they had much penetration on camera. I would hate to see that much boiling water dump on a person. Do not get me wrong. You did a great job with the design and being new to welding. Just wanting to warn you a bit. Your welds could be cleaned up with a grinder and re-welded. As always, love what you guys do !!
Nice work Jason! Good vid. the water weighed about 300 pounds. Water weighs 8.34 pounds per gallon. You had it a little less than 2/3 full after evaporation thus the weight is a somewhat less than 306 pounds.
Nice job Jason. I know nothing about that stuff but am curious if the barrel was spray painted the same black paint would it absorbed heat faster? Anyone know?
Great job! I always thought about making something like that to get rid of snow after those huge storms when there was no place left to pile it up. You could make one that burns wood, though I imagine the propane gives better control. Or maybe a hybrid?
I hope you can adjust the flame on your burner. That yellow flame is not good. The flame should be blue to light blue, no yellow. You need more oxygen.
No, only neodymium are subject to that and at a fairly low temp. The welding magnet clamps are samarium cobalt or AlNiCo. They would have to get really hot, but welding is very localized.
Thanks Butcher Box for sponsoring a great family's channel.
Be very proud awesome 1st build
It's burning way too rich. Give it more air till you get a blue flame. Great idea! Will save you a lot of time.
Just open the vent on the burner!
You've done well Mr. DYIer!
Great job Jason.
Your sponsor today is great for those who can not raise and butcher there own meat. Such a great ideal 👍🏻
Looking good. God bless. Kansas
Nice job. Now, all you need is to install a drain valve down low on the side of you barrel to drain the water out when you are done.
I don’t think there’s anything you can’t do or make! What a great job Jason 💪🏻
well thought out project. good job.
Jason, you need a leather apron. Great job like always.
Like the one Justin Rhodes wears
Congratulations on your first weld job! Even more important you have a new skill that will pay untold dividends. Well done 👍👍
Well done, Jason. Ben Hollar would be proud of you! 👍💞
Great job, love your channel , Louisa here from New Brunswick, Canada
Looks great 👍
Turned out looking slick!
great project. for those not able to weld, you can make the stand with black pipe and fittings. and have the burner rest in a metal tray.

I'm impressed! Bravo!!!
Great job on your first project!
You’re so clever!!! 🤩
Love, love your opening song, makes me happy!
Great JOB!!
It's a beauty for first time metal design, weld project. Sooooooo satisfying when your mojo is in the zone, isn't it! Inspiration! Thank you!
Great job.
Nice job 👍🏻
Came out real nice 👍👍
Have a good evening 🌻🌻🌻
Well done
Great job Jason. 👍👍
That is really cool. Great work.
Nice job!!!!
Wow! So impressed you made the jump from wood to metal so easy!
Very Nice!
Great video Jason, keep it up!
Great job Jason! Well done!

Thank you very much!
Good job Jason. Never too old to learn a new trick. ;)
AWESOMELY AWESOME!!!
It’s gorgeous! Congrats on a cool project!
Fantastic, informative video. 👌

Great job..that barrel ain't going nowhere.
I'm no welder but it looks great. You made it look easy. 🙂

That looks great Jason, good job!
Wow that was a awesome job with the welding. Very nice for first time, looks store bought to me. Thanks for the upload : )
That really looks good.
Great Job Jason you are so talented
heya that it is working and it looks so good
great project . Congrats on the journey and building it yourself :)
Nice job, it looks great!
I might have to get me one of those big burners...

good job man
Great build Man!!
Thanks!
AWESOME JOB, JASON!~
Great job son ❤️❤️
Excellent job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice job. Have you practiced raising the pig(simulated very heavy log) from the ground, dunking it and raising it out the barrel?
Nice job Jason. I know nothing about that stuff but am curious if the barrel was spray painted the same black paint would it absorbed heat faster? Anyone know?
Great job! I always thought about making something like that to get rid of snow after those huge storms when there was no place left to pile it up. You could make one that burns wood, though I imagine the propane gives better control. Or maybe a hybrid?

Good job
Thanks guys!
I hope you can adjust the flame on your burner. That yellow flame is not good. The flame should be blue to light blue, no yellow. You need more oxygen.
For sure, thanks
Beautiful job!how do you keep your work area clan after the sanding and grinding? I just think of those metal shavings😱 happy butchering!
wow! nice!
Nice
Could use four plastic top caps for the leg tops and bottoms, so they won't get water inside and rust with the rain.
or since he's a welder now he could weld metal squares on top!
Great job on your first weld build Jason, Congrats! :)
Open your air adjustment on end of burner. You will get much better heat and better burn... Love peace and chicken grease 😜
I am no expert. BUT looking good.
The flame seems a little close to the barrel, otherwise seems like a great build. Cheers.
Would it be helpful to clean and use the black heat paint on the barrel, particularly the bottom?
I did do that. I guess that didn't make the edit. thanks
@@SowtheLand Your welding project looks great too!
Jason was that galvanized tubing? Be careful if it was that’s toxic to breath the galvanize fumes.
Do you have these plans for sale?
Where can I find the plans to build this?
Will you make and sell a burner??
You should sell these.
You did job on the build but the air and gas mixture is off, open vent until the flame is blue then it will burn more efficiently and hotter
Just wondering how long the bottom of the barrel will last being heated that much? Will the heat / flame destroy the bottom?
No, the water in it will protect the bottom from getting to a high heat.
no wood on the land?
No, I don’t have much land or woods
I know I am about a year and half late but do you still have the plans
GOOD MORNING BEAST Sow the land Jason RUclips VIDEO CANADA ONTARIO MISSISSAUG 🌱🌱🍀🍀🍀🍃🍃🍃🇨🇦🇨🇦🍁🍁

🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Make these burners and sell them look how many homesteads grow there own pork
💗High5 ✋on a successful build.

If rare Earth magnets over heat they can loose their magnesium. So carful not to over heat them
No, only neodymium are subject to that and at a fairly low temp. The welding magnet clamps are samarium cobalt or AlNiCo. They would have to get really hot, but welding is very localized.
Your air needs to be adjusted on you frames, should heat up twice as fast. Games should be blue
yes for sure. thanks
Yippee. First
👋👋👋🇺🇸👀
Where ur weldgun nozzle lol
How will you regulate the temperature of the water to maintain it at 150 for scalding?
The heat does adjust. Thanks
