Then the Xmen they wanted to take Mutant from Latvarion from the island, causing a war that as always in comic united both side. It ended with Charles Xavier erasing Reed Richard memory of making the Xgene blocking devices because they think it could be modify to remove mutant DNA and make it that he was not able to make it ever again. It was really dumb decision too because it could be used to protect mutants from Sentinel and anti-mutant scanners. Machines that where design to target mutant DNA where block from working so it could have been a great asset to the Xmen.

Franklin got to know his "Own People" as the Xmen would say. The whole story the Xmen really act strange like, Wolverine tried to stab Mr Fantasic in the back taunting him how his kid where going to be orphans. Mr Fantasic said he thought it was strange that they wanted their son to go to the Island right away instead of waiting a few years till he became a adult, trying to sneak his kid away while they where distracted. How they flant their diplomatic immunity as they were about to do bad things. Them talking about how they just need to wait for Franklin to run away from home, sense they promist they can help him not lose his power.They where really shifty and refused to let them know where their kids where when the Fantasic 4 where calling them to know where their kids where. Doctor Doom pretty much helped defuse the situation and help Franklin with his powers and manipulate thing so they would unite against him. He recognized that if he moved permanently to Krakoa, it was only a matter of time it will be destroyed, with him being their uncle he had to make sure he got back to his parents.
So when they need him to help save the world, they're all buddy buddy. As soon as the threat is dealt with, they leave him to his own devices and go party without him on their private island

X Men have always prejudiced against Spiderman and Deadpool as they werent born with the X gene like the rest of them and instead acquired their mutant like powers. There's a lot of people arguing about if deadpool is a mutant or not. Technically, if we were to do classifications based on how real science usually works, a mutant would just be anyone who possesses an x-gene, whether its active or not. (I'm not talking about how mutants in real life work, I'm talking about how scientific classifications work.) Technically though, the island wouldn't be for people with inactive mutant genes, it's for people with active mutations. This includes deadpool. In the comics, deadpool had his mutant gene activated through the weapon-x program. This turns him from an inactive mutant to an active mutant. (And it also gave him super cancer.) Tl:dr; deadpool is an unusual case, but unless you're weird and fundamentalist about it, he's as much of a mutant as everyone else.
He's actually a mutate not a mutant. A mutate is someone who gets their powers from an outside source (Hulk, Fantastic four, Spider-Man). A mutant is someone who is born with their powers which are then activated later in life by trauma or stress.
I mean technically deadpool got his powers by a Sirum being injected to activate his mutant genes and was subjected to immense stress to activate them idk tho I’m going off the movie version I also understand that he was cursed by thanos

Mutants and Mutates are different things. Mutants are born with their powers via natural mutations caused by evolution(AKA they must be born mutated). Deadpool is Human and was was experemented and given Wolverine's Mutant genes, making him a Mutate as it was unnatural.
There's a bit more to this story with some serious implications with the relationship between him and the X-Men allies. Remember, while Deadpool is a mutate, not a mutant in the comics, he identified as a mutant and has been an ally of the X-Men and similar characters for years. Of course, because he's a mercenary with mental instability and shifting allegiances, he's kept at arm's length even he's shown loyalty to them time and time again. At the point of this story, he was the king of monsters on Coney Island and wanted to open diplomatic relations (along with getting a flower known to heal all manner of ailments), but that fell flat because of the mutant nation being essentially a self-segregated state and, again, their exaggerated response against Deadpool. After that treatment, Deadpool made a decree that mutants were banned from the island, though it was a rule born of spite and was soon forgotten. Shortly after he lost his leadership by the end of the King in Black saga (which has never been explained, by the way), despite the last meeting and Krakoa's response to non-mutants, Deadpool would come to the mutant's aide again, this time teaming with the Juggernaut, bitch (sorry, can't help it) against a powerful enemy, who were still somewhat ungrateful for his assistance. During a fashionable diplomatic party (which likely led to an orgy, I guess?), Deadpool crashed the gala, despite protests from Wolverine and his X-Force, but they let him stay anyway, which would soon lead him to be a member yet again. This would culminate in a mission which saw Deadpool's body destroyed by Omega Red and the island itself birthing him a body similar to his original, except this time with the X-Gene, this finally making him a mutant.

@vothbetilia4862 Yeah. Everyone got along now and forgot about why they were fighting after Doctor Doom became their united enemy. Their kid Franklin could visit the island on their own and return. Franklin got to know his "Own People" as the Xmen would say.
The whole story the Xmen really act strange like, Wolverine tried to stab Mr Fantasic in the back taunting him how his kid where going to be orphans. Mr Fantasic said he thought it was strange that they wanted their son to go to the Island right away instead of waiting a few years till he became a adult, trying to sneak his kid away while they where distracted. How they flant their diplomatic immunity as they were about to do bad things. Them talking about how they just need to wait for Franklin to run away from home, sense they promist they can help him not lose his power.They where really shifty and refused to let them know where their kids where when the Fantasic 4 where calling them to know where their kids where.
Doctor Doom pretty much helped defuse the situation and help Franklin with his powers and manipulate thing so they would unite against him. He recognized that if he moved permanently to Krakoa, it was only a matter of time it will be destroyed, with him being their uncle he had to make sure he got back to his parents.
So basically they are just a group of friends playing minecraft got it

There's a lot of people arguing about if deadpool is a mutant or not. Technically, if we were to do classifications based on how real science usually works, a mutant would just be anyone who possesses an x-gene, whether its active or not. (I'm not talking about how mutants in real life work, I'm talking about how scientific classifications work.)
Technically though, the island wouldn't be for people with inactive mutant genes, it's for people with active mutations. This includes deadpool.
In the comics, deadpool had his mutant gene activated through the weapon-x program. This turns him from an inactive mutant to an active mutant. (And it also gave him super cancer.)
Tl:dr; deadpool is an unusual case, but unless you're weird and fundamentalist about it, he's as much of a mutant as everyone else.

A mutant is someone who is born with their powers which are then activated later in life by trauma or stress.

Mutants and Mutates are different things. Mutants are born with their powers via natural mutations caused by evolution(AKA they must be born mutated). Deadpool is Human and was was experemented and given Wolverine's Mutant genes, making him a Mutate as it was unnatural.

There's a bit more to this story with some serious implications with the relationship between him and the X-Men allies. Remember, while Deadpool is a mutate, not a mutant in the comics, he identified as a mutant and has been an ally of the X-Men and similar characters for years. Of course, because he's a mercenary with mental instability and shifting allegiances, he's kept at arm's length even he's shown loyalty to them time and time again. At the point of this story, he was the king of monsters on Coney Island and wanted to open diplomatic relations (along with getting a flower known to heal all manner of ailments), but that fell flat because of the mutant nation being essentially a self-segregated state and, again, their exaggerated response against Deadpool. After that treatment, Deadpool made a decree that mutants were banned from the island, though it was a rule born of spite and was soon forgotten. Shortly after he lost his leadership by the end of the King in Black saga (which has never been explained, by the way), despite the last meeting and Krakoa's response to non-mutants, Deadpool would come to the mutant's aide again, this time teaming with the Juggernaut, bitch (sorry, can't help it) against a powerful enemy, who were still somewhat ungrateful for his assistance. During a fashionable diplomatic party (which likely led to an orgy, I guess?), Deadpool crashed the gala, despite protests from Wolverine and his X-Force, but they let him stay anyway, which would soon lead him to be a member yet again. This would culminate in a mission which saw Deadpool's body destroyed by Omega Red and the island itself birthing him a body similar to his original, except this time with the X-Gene, this finally making him a mutant.
